I'm loving Collins. I looked up and he was trying to murder someone with a dunk.

You can tell one of these games Dorsey is gonna heat up and I can't wait.

Hawks got down big but battled back with Bembry leading the charge. He ran point quite a bit and took overthe scoring with a series of shots within 5 ft of basket. He had a turn around fade away shot from about the ft line. Still a reluctant shooter from range.
Prince and Collins looked good.
Magette can shoot and did an OK job running the team when Bembry wasn't.
Tyler Dorsey - nothing memorable.
Hawks had a chance to win but end game execution was problematic.

Bembry looked strong, confident and aggressive. It's clear he had s green light from the coaches and a good understanding of the offense.

He seems like he'll have a long career as a sixth man in this league -- manning the backup PG and SF spots.

His lack of a jumper is problematic. He and Dennis can't share the court much because neither is effective without the ball.

I like the kid, a lot. But I suspect he won't have a role long term here. Because he isn't much of a shooter, he has limited length and athleticism. All qualities Trav has indicated he desires in young players.

i'm really impressed with Collins, especially with his rebounding. I hope he keeps the game simple for himself in his rookie year and just sees his role as Dennis Rodman, a rebounding hustle guy who runs the floor and fast break like a mad man. I think if Collins goes into every game in his rookie season as, 'i don't care if i touch the ball, im going just go in their, fight for every rebound, and sprint on every play' we are going to see alot of good things from him. and then in his 2nd and 3rd year, start demanding plays and targeting 15ppg.

Bembry looked great, and like what i said in another thread, i expect Bembry to take the place of Hardaway, and it looks like i was right about that.

I'm disappointed with Cordinier, i was hoping to see more

Question that keeps running through my head is , 'is Magette a good shooter'?, or did he just have a lucky game. we will see over the next few games if he is a legit NBA or just had one lucky game

CMB missing summer league is not a huge deal on its own. But combined with no public statements and skipping Trav's intro press conference -- it's becoming a legit concern.

Bud's absence and silence speaks volumes...

1st quarter:
Collins and Prince. Collins is quick down the floor and I think he'll be a great passer. Prince can get to basket anytime, just needs to focus on finishing, had some good ones.
Stone had a big rebound and slam. He's quicker than I thought he'd be.
Tyler Dorsey - nothing to right home about.
Bembry with a drive and 2 hand duck then a steal. He has really good defensive instincts.

Bembry with another good game, looks like the smartest, most under control player on the floor.

Bembry has a triple double in his sights for the season, probably will follow Dennis in apg.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

Bembry has a natural feel for the game.
