Anderson has been the hold up all this time. Rockets are desperate to unload him and we are definitely not taking him. Finding that third team willing to take him on for assets they would send to us is the key to finalize this.

His value is mostly low because of how we handled everything...again, not expecting a lot, but have to throw a few crumbs our way...else just let him expire. Have to at least make teams think we will keep him anyway... most importantly didn't trade him for bad contracts only just to get rid of him

I mean he's a huge upgrade over Anderson. We are doing them the favor. We should get something back.

Reddick has a specific skill set and doesn't dribble the air out of the ball. He's also one of the best 3 point shooters in basketball.

60 million for a 33-35 year old Carmelo is nuts, imo. And the only reason the Knicks can't move him is because of the crazy contract.

Don't WE have the leverage? Money needs Melo to compete in the west. He knows CP3 and Harden aren't good enough. CP3 signed a one year deal too I believe. It's all or nothing.

So they trade one starter (Ariza or Gordon) and the 2020 pick. That simple.

Until he's a brought a contract to sign, his NTC will still give him control. The Knicks can explore trades with teams, but ultimately he still has veto power over a trade.

Gordon would be a valuable trade piece at the deadline. Getting him wouldn't be a big deal.
