We'll be lucky to squeeze a 2nd rd pick in the return for Melo.

What "this". The Knicks appear desperate to Melo and Morey is bound to wait it out longer to screw NY over as he's done in the past with deals between the two teams.

Then no deal lol they should have no power in this we should be holding the cards.
Melo also holds the cards with his NTC.

His contract is not even that bad. We are paying Timmy and Noah more combined....melo is most likely expiring.
His value is mostly low because of how we handled everything...again, not expecting a lot, but have to throw a few crumbs our way...else just let him expire. Have to at least make teams think we will keep him anyway... most importantly didn't trade him for bad contracts only just to get rid of him
His contract isn't bad?! He's due like 60 million if he doesn't wave the kicker
It's short term so perfect for teams that want to take a shot. Riddick just got $23mil for 1 season.
I mean he's a huge upgrade over Anderson. We are doing them the favor. We should get something back.

If the Knicks were desperate they would have bought Melo out or accepted the trade for Anderson. Even though we have expressed our desire to trade him, its not like we HAVE to. Honestly we could hold on to him until the trade deadline when teams get desperate for a playoff push or someone significant gets hurt. Cavs always have someone getting hurt, and with how so many stars went out west, I can see Houston getting desperate too.

You can't get blood out of a stone.
the rockets wont trade 2 starters in gordon and arize for one.
no team wants anderson.
they can't trade a 1st round pick until 2020.

They don't want him on the team now that they have Hardaway.

Very true but he signed off on the rockets so we are in the green

If not..what is coming back?....Eric Gordon & ??
We have no need for E.Gordon anymore now that we have THJ and with the rumor that we won't be trading C.Lee and want to play them together. Gotta be a 3rd team.
Speak for yourself. I'd STILL take Gordon with open arms.
He and Porzingis would LIGHT IT UP!!!
