Kmart didn't do a wind up, the release just looked awkward

He'll be much more efficient.

He's just missing...it is not like he can't get it off.

He can't shoot and he can't beat people to the basket. The back to the basket play is something that is intriguing to me because if he gets that into his game that will help him tremendously. Use his HT, and passing out of the post. He can be like a Mark Jackson and Andre Miller who also were G's who didn't have great footspeed. He just can't even beat Boston's bigs in switches to the basket.
Jaylen Brown is a guy who can get in transition and finish, proved to be a much better 3pt shooter off the catch than thought of and a plus defender when he wants. He needs to hone in that role. However, I understand what he and Boston are doing this summer and trying to make him a playmaker. He needs to work on those skills because clearly he doesn't have that at this moment.
How are you making these kind of definitive statements on Ball? He shot 40% + from three in college. Rondo wasn't anywhere near that. He shot 55% from the field. If your going to make definitive statements on a guy playing his second summer league game at least incorporate what he did in College.

disagree. He's having to rush it unlike in College and Pro. These aren't even high level NBA defenders either and he is rushing his shot which is leading to wild misses. He isn't just missing short or long. It's left, right, front rim, airballs, back rim. No consistency.

Unfortunately the 2017 NBA won't value his abilities the way they should

Lol! Im sure hell find open looks when he has nba talent around him.
It's all relative. He's playing with less talent than he will have in NBA season, but so is the other team. The sad part is this is closer to the Lakers regular season team than most other teams in SL
Randle, Ingram, Clarkson and Brook Lopez. That is a significant difference from the talent level that Lonzo played with today...

He's gonna have to play small ball 4 to have that freedom, don't think he will be allowed to run mid post ISOs as a wing.

Unbiased opinion here...Simmons focuses a lot more on getting his own assists, Lonzo is just focused on the right pass whether it's a hockey assist or not.

Zubac, Ingram played last night, Hart should make this awful squad too.
