I'm really not trying to be rude, but you do understand he was the #2 overall pick right? Like he could have worked on his craft at UCLA and been the #1 overall next year...is that the point you're trying to make? I hope you understand the whole point of this is to be drafted as high as possible.
I think you are confused because he didnt care about where he was drafted as long as the lakers chose him . If the Lakers were 8th he still wouldve wanted to be 8th .
Overall his game is lacking as far as scoring and defensively and those are things he couldve improved upon immensely in college . Now his daddy has shined a spotlight on him and guys are gonna be coming after him hard . I cant recall a point guard developing a pro offensive arsenal after they get to the nba .
