Absolutely. He has one weakness, and it is his injury history. If he can put that behind him he has a chance to be the best player in the world some day.

Not just one of the best big men, but the best player in the league. On top of his physical gifts, he is also extremely smart, extremely competitive, and extremely personable.

Today Lebron is the player that everyone wants to play with. Some day that could be Embiid.

Embiid has a lot to learn on the court as well, don't get me wrong. He plays out of control a lot of the time, on offense and defense, but he has the highest ceiling in the league.

He's an employee of the NBA...its not private. Hopefully this and some words from someone within the organizarion will get him to pull out if this. Social media can get you in some trouble...10k is probably a reasonable fine.

The media loves to run with negative stories about the Sixers. Nerlens and Embiid were drafted knowing they would miss their 1st years.

Joel got confused... that graphic was showing how many games the rookies played in their first season. He took it to many last 5 seasons.

Most of humanity is an employee to someone though. I think this will be a big topic of conversation going forward. Not on this exact case, just 1st amendment rights on social media in general. It should be at least, imo.

As far as privacy goes, it was his personal social media account, not tied to the NBA.

PPat tweeted this earlier, seems to have rubbed other players the wrong way as well.

He said a cuss word. NBA wont tolerate that with its minor age fans.

I am no prude, but I agree with this comment since the NBA is promoted as a game to take the family.

His social media account is not at the game. You have to search it out and find it. It's not going to bump in to you.

I feel like I am going sjw mode for Embiid, so not my style, but this is actually something I believe in. Plus Embiid is awesome.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
