They are getting nervous. They realize we are about to be 1.5 behind them.

It's starting to feel pretty damn good is it not? Like an even better version of 2003...of course...I don't want to speak too soon.

The Brewers fans are talking about us going to the playoffs in their thread.
I am so flattered.

Brewers have to be feeling the pressure now.. if the players say they aren't then there in big trouble.

I meant this team, as in this particular roster. I've been a Cubs fan as long as I can remember. I don't think I am alone in getting the feeling that this group of guys could really accomplish something. After some of the players we've had here in recent years it is nice to have a roster of guys who are genuinely likable, for the most part.

So, we're two back now?

i'm not convinced yet... we're suppose to beat this team regardless... i want to face high calibar teams.. that's why i can't wait to face the mets... we just lost 2 of 3 from the d'backs so im not getting excited yet. these are the cubs and we gotta remember that.

Yeah, you're right. I can't really argue that. Every other time I've been truly excited by the Cubs the season has inevitably ended in defeat. Still, I will enjoy these seasons, or portions of seasons at the very least, for as long as I can.

It is a nice time to be watching the Cubs. Regardless of how it works out I'm going to enjoy it.
