You know, Dante Cunningham wouldn't be a bad pick-up.

R. Jackson/I. Smith
A. Bradley/L. Kennard/L. Galloway
T. Harris/S. Johnson/D. Cunningham
J. Leuer/H. Ellenson/D. Cunningham
A. Drummond/B. Marjanovic/E. Moreland

Sign Beno for that 3rd PG spot and leave a spot open for movement later in the season.

Selfishly, I'd sign Beasley just to give SVG someone else to put in the doghouse so that Stanley Johnson can play.

I still like Reggie Bullock and he has a small contract.

I'd be interested in one of Mbah-Moute / Sefolosha / Gerald Green as they address the areas we need to improve in, specifically 3s and D. However, I'd like to see what we have in Stanley or Ellenson and I'm not thrilled about Stan being able to chain them to the bench because they make 1 mistake and we get 30 mpg of Thabo Sefolosha.

The only two guys on the list I'd take would be Gerald Green or Michael Beasley, with the former being my choice. Green can be a microwave scorer at times and at minimum would provide some fun highlight reals. Whoever we get better not jump our younger players in the rotation though, that is the most important aspect. It's time our youngens had some trial by fire and get serious PT to learn through their mistakes, not get yanked and become timid with the ball.

Bring back Bullock for cheap a long term deal and I guess Tolliver just not Ersan absolutely could not stand him.

This is exactly right, but I question if these guys won't get more than the minimum or whatever we're able to offer.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Mbah a Moute or Thabo are probably my first choice from this list. I could see Green coming here as well, he's a vagabond and Bradley might put in a good word with and for him. We need a 3/4 out of this signing, but I think they need to lean to SF side capability as we only have Harris and Johnson as SF's whereas Leuer, Harris, Ellenson and Moreland can all play the four.

Mbah a Moute
Sefolosha
Green
Cunningham

Worth pointing out that we never renounced Bullock yet, so have his Full Bird Rights, meaning we can sign him with those and use the BAE still on any of these players still or another point guard. Given I'm not sure any of these guys sign for the BAE, and certainly not for the BAE here, using the FBR on Bullock might be the easiest way to go.

You can't S&T a player for another S&T can you? Ie say Pellies want Bullock and we want Cunningham we can't each sign our own player using their FBR's and then trade them for each other can we?

Someone not on that list is Shabazz.

He might not take the BAE but I'd certainly offer it.

Young guy with plenty of potential

Assuming he says no Sefolosha is my target:

RJ 26 - Ish 22

AB 30 - Kennard 18

SJ 26 - Tobias 6 - Sefo 16

Jon 12 - Tobias 24 - Henry 12

Dre 33 - Jon 15

10 man rotation, I don't think anyone gets short changed here.

Galloway, Bobo & Moreland (with Benji) make up the rest of the roster

Shabazz would be a good negotiation point to use against KCP by Brooklyn. I don't think he's signing for the BAE anywhere and if he did it would be where he could get almost guaranteed playing time. Brooklyn should offer him 2 yrs 20M rather than paying KCP 80M+ over four.

Bazz can get 20 minutes here (if I was coach)

Then again if I was Coach RJ would be out the door, I'd have Mitchell as my rookie, KCP & SJ & maybe AB if things worked out

Bazz only shoots .336 in 3s SVG wont sign him that's why he's not on list

And as I've said before:

Trying to assemble the Clone Warriors is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of!

You'll have inferior talent, coaching, ownership, chemistry (cause it's a manufactured team not organic) and you expect to win?

How?

I'd take Bazz to see if he could become anything more than what he's shown - nothing more, nothing less

Don't shoot the messenger we were the 4th worst 3pt shooting team.SVG is looking hard to get better in that area.Which means higher 3pt shooting players.Bazz is not one of them so he has to be by passed.

I think Shabazz is also a Rich Paul client.

If so, I doubt Bazz is coming to Detroit.

Thabo for me, Green always struck me as a athletic freak with not much between the ears. I could be off on that one but that's how I've always thought of him.

How does not wanting to be one of the worst 3pt shooting teams in the league = Clone Warriors?
If you don't shoot the 3 well, you're not going to win.. simple as that.

Luc Richard Mbah-Moute, Dante Cunningham, Michael Beasley. Hard working defender, 'tweener forward with 3 range, and for whatever reason I've always like Beasley.

Ersan if we could get him cheap.

Read on Twitter

He's not a three at all really. But I guess it would make some sense. We still have his FBR and thus can offer him anything up to the Hard Cap threshold to sign him. Of course won't take that much. We could then still use our BAE on players listed in the OP.
