Damn...tonight is the 10 Year Anniversary of Biggio's 3000th hit.

We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

It's a good thing we have an 8-0 lead today, that way we can use Hoyt and not panic about it.

Four run game tying inning.

Hey Joe...welcome back.

Went into this game having no issue with Toronto, because hey, that other Texas team is their bitch. Good stuff.

Still got no issue with Toronto, but can our defense make more incompetent plays tonight? Is that possible? Infuriatingly depressingly maddeningly unacceptable rubbish, I say!

I mean, come on!

Except some of their fans are low-class citizens. Absolute disgrace to the MLB.

True, and totally valid point with which I do not disagree.

Remember when you called this team, the Lastros?

Well they are off to a historic start, and I want to see them do well this year and win it all. My Mets just stink this year. :banghead:

To be fair, I always preferred to refer to them as the Disastros.

The Fat Elvis days are long gone, but I hope to bust out the Twinkie Road to Victory pic one more time...if they can win a WS.

Just one time, fellas! I am not greedy.

Silliness aside, they've been a very fun team to watch this year and I just want to enjoy it while it lasts. Especially now, because down the stretch and going into October is when the real anxiety and heartbreak kicks in, but luckily liquor stores are still open that time of year.

Also, you're favorite traitor probably needs a break...or a bump down in the lineup...or whatever Judge is using.

Well, this is an enjoyable start! Feels like the opposite of last nights game.

I'll gladly take an 8-0 lead in the 2nd inning with Toronto already going to their bullpen, yes indeed.

Springer a triple away from the cycle...through just three innings.

Great outing from Morton tonight, very nice to have him back in that rotation going into the break.

Now let's turn that run total up to eleven...and more.

Damnit Springer, you're supposed to hit a triple for the cycle, not another dinger!

Acceptable result though, sir.

Keep acting cocky you showboating taints, we'll just drop 5 runs in an inning on you. Let's see if we can surpass Friday nights 12 runs scored.
