The point on his contract, he's earned 18M over 2 years, 9M would have been considered value last year (or more value). So he took a big deal to get paid with us, now he can afford to take less and contend. Fair play Jeff, go chase your ring

Jeff green probably was my least favorite Magic player of all time. Good riddance.

I saw 4 potentially positive things about the Jeff Green signing.

1) He was supposed to be used as a trade chip using his expiring salary.
2) He was supposed to be attractive to a contender at the deadline.
3) He was supposed to teach Aaron Gordon how to make it in this league as a combo SF/PF.
4) At the very worse he would be an expiring contract off the books in a year.

What I didn't expect was to see him suck so badly, take up so many minutes, and not teach a damn thing. That was the biggest waste of $17M dollars that I have ever seen in my life. It's a crime how easily he got that much money. Even an injured guy who gets paid is better than that because he doesn't bring a net negative value on the court.

Happy for Jeff. He'll be playing in meaningful basketball games next season. Hopefully being with champions will bring the best out of him. Definitely a different environment playing for Orlando and playing in the Q. Hate to say it but playing for the Magic is almost D-League status in terms of the in-game environment.
