neither can break down a defense or get buckets beyond a pull middy

Free agent point guards still on market -

Leandrino Barbosa
Rajon Rondo
Ty Lawson
Derrick Rose
Aaron Brooks
Trey Burke
Monta Ellis
Ty Ennis
Randy Foye
Brandon Jennings
Raymond Sessions
Jason Terry
Deron Williams

Now we'd only have our BAE to spend here, but we're only looking for a #3 behind Reggie and Langston, and given Reggie's knees and Galloway being more of a combo who will get time at the three - we could maybe entice one of these guys here with the potential for playing time on a "prove yourself" contract

For what it's worth Teodosic is going to be starting for the Clippers at point guard, not Beverly. And they do have Austin Rivers who is a combo guard that will be playing mostly the two, so Pat fits beside him just fine. I think they wanted Bradley to pair with Milos as the starters with the other two coming off the bench. Would have been a pretty solid backcourt... but I'm more than glad that Detroit ended up with Avery instead.

Would you agree he's better than leuer?

Nope and he's cost twice as much.

Agree. Anderson is strictly a 3-point gunner. Looks great on sportscenter when he gets hot, but he's not always hot and is one-dimensional. Leuer is a more solid all-around player. And is cheaper, of course.

Yeah, I'm probably in the same boat as all of you. I just wanted to play a bit of devil's advocate to see how everyone values our guys at the moment.

I definitely think we should be waiting for the right time/scenarios to move our guys. SVG did a masterful job of this with Morris, and I'd like to think he'll do the same with Reggie/leuer/Tobias/whoever else he might decide to move

As frustrated as i am with Reggie i still lean towards wanting to see him for 20-30 games. His value is crap and he was never quite right last season. No reason to force a bad trade. If he plays well and he fits we keep him. If he plays well and doesn't fit he has more value. If he plays bad we are no worse off In terms of trying to find a trade.

Don't sell low.
