Props to the posters that wanted Dennis Smith Jr.... I'm a tad late to the party, but I see it.

Can't believe the Knicks passed on him.

FO's obsession with Dunn led them to focus on him in the MIN trade, which caused them to bypass DSJ. Should have told MIN from the beginning that we were interested in Lavine, 7 and future picks.

Is there any players in this summer league who have played really well who are undrafted and not under contract with another team that the Bulls should consider signing? I am asking because I have only watched a handful of summer league games so I have not seen everyone play.

Ok, I won't lie. I didn't watch much Summer league play last season. I wanted Dunn due to what he did in college.

It would be a real shame if this kid winds up a bust after all he's been through.

After all the trading for point guards, GarPax painted themselves into a corner of not drafting one. Could you imagine them underlining their poor trading skills by drafting one? Its a bad position for a team to be in going into a draft. Hopefully this works out.

A couple interesting trivia tidbits about Lauri Markkanen:

- He signed with Nike today.

- The 576 points he scored for AZ last year were the most be a freshman in AZ history.

- In the last 25 years, Markkanen and Kevin Durant are the only players to hit 69+ threes and grab 266+ rebounds in their freshman year.

- Lauri joins Fultz, Fox, Tatum, Monk, Adebayo, Giles and Isaac from this year's draft class as Nike signees.
