Kenny the JET giving Robinson some love. Said he needs strength.
Dennis Smith & the Jet calling him the real deal.

I love listening to Kenny talk about young players you can tell he really understands. Can we promote EG to monumental sports president or co coo or something and or team pres ans have Kenny be head of player personnel or head of basketball operations .

Jenkins can shoot. That's for sure.hes needs a dietition though. Keenes not showing scoring but teams assist leader. Ummm idk man I kind of wish the g league wiz fully established. Cuz I would love to sign some of these guys to a g leave deal and develop them like a real farm system. Jenkins could be an NBA players if he lost 15 pounds and worked in his d . Keene. Could be useful!

Why did we stop playing team ball? No plays no passing no effort just show boating. Kevin pangos should not be running that offence.

Chris, ochifu and Mac had solid games. Young and Robinson were ok ! Cunningham again lit it up, Keene should be starting, young should be coming off the bench, and Robinson should be starting.

I have a sneaky feeling that we are going to sign Cunningham. And offer our second g leave contract to Robinson.

Need to see what Keen can do running the team for a half, we need our PG to keep teams off-balance by mixing scoring with assists and Keene is capable... although he appears to be a chucker. Mac looking like an NBA player, Chris, not so-much

Watched most of the game. Ochefu was solid once again. Had a couple of nice short hook shots in the low post. Ochefu may earn himself another stint with the Zards, especially given our dearth of young, big bodies.

I thought Mac played a little out of control (and selfish) in the first half, but he came on and displayed his ability to get to the rim with some impressive drives down the stretch.

Pangos has a nice handle and good vision as a passer.

Keene needs to do is exactly what Kenny Smith said; look for his shot and stop looking to pass. Keene has to realize that his value to the Zards or any other NBA team will likely be as a scorer and not as a distributor.

Cunningham shined once again on offense. He can score...averaged 30 plus in China last season. I can see Cunningham ending up on an NBA roster next season.

Jenkins showed a nice shooting touch. Didn't see much from either Robinson or McCullough. Both guys tried to mix it up in the paint (Chris did get 10 boards, I believe) but mostly got pushed around down there.

While Young didn't do much to impress, it's clear he has good offensive instincts. I can see why the Zards want to try to keep him around based on that potential alone.

McCullough wasn't especially efficient, but he finally showed flashes of talent (which is more than he did in garbage minutes for the Wizards after the trade). He looked spry, demonstrated some bounce on a few nice second and third jumps to go after rebounds, and hit a long jumper or two.

I can see why Young draws Millsap comparisons: he isn't just built like him, he kinda looks like him as well. But Young looks more like 6'7" than the 6'9" he's listed to be. He showed some nice post moves (vs. SF-sized defenders), and hit a few jumpers off the dribble, but I'm still concerned that he'll be the wrong kind of tweener to make it in the NBA. That said, he's already ahead of the similarly-sized Aaron White as a prospect in the franchise's overall depth-chart.

Ochefu looks a little more athletic than last year. He's still not athletic enough to be an NBA player with his skill set.
Always remember, my friend: the world will change again. And you may have to come back through everywhere you've been.

JWall was interviewed during the SL game and they asked him what he was working on this sumer. He named three things.

1. A spot up 3 pt shot. He referenced Jason Kidd as someone who developed this shot as his career advanced.
2. A floater. John feels that shooting a floater will cut down on the punishment he currently takes when he attacks the basket.
3. A post up move. John wants to use his size to take advantage of smaller PGs.

I wouldn't. Cunningham is a 26-year old professional basketball player. Of course he looks good compared to these guys.

But he's not an NBA player, & he's never going to be one. These young guys aren't NBA players either, but there's a chance one or more of them will become one.
