He doesnt play angry or intense.

He needs intensity in his game...

Sadly some people are just like that... Passive.
Whether he becomes a stud or a dud will depend on his intensity.... You need KG or someone like him in the locker room to get the badass inside Bender.

He doesnt have a competitor's mentality. Chriss has it thats one positive thing he has... Jackson has it.. Booker has it as well.

Neither did Duncan. Different players are different. He's more methodical, focusing on fundamentals. He looks pretty good so far I think. I like Chriss intensity sometimes but sometimes he seems like he doesn't care, and he's almost always sloppy. Already had two quick turnovers.

Well... Duncan did not have to show aggression but he played hard. And he and others are different because they have play style and body to compete.

Bender plays very passive. Its obvious by watching him. He is also very thin still so he needs to be active.

Seen anyone else with their RealGM Suns t shirts on?

I saw a few on Friday. Being my first time going, it was really cool to experience + have conversations with other Suns/NBA fans.

Bender and Jackson playing good basketball in the first half.

DJJ with some bad turnovers, he needs to improve his decision making.

DJJ seems destined to be a defender/athlete/cutter. doesn't have the natural feel to do much else

of course he's still young so development can still happen but usually you can see who has feel and who doesn't.

Mike James is a terrible defender overplays his guy every time and makes it really hard on the rest of the D.

Well I don't know what Duncan's body looked like when he was a sophomore at Wake Forest but that was where he was when he was Bender's age and played two more years at Wake Forest after that. There are a lot of players who don't play with aggression and fire that you can visibly see.

Also reminds me of Shannon Brown. And we all know how I feel about that. Puke.gif

I guess I'm the only one who likes Mike James. Interesting.

i can't watch the game, but from the box score I like that we are outrebounding them 26-10. Also JJ has 3 offensive boards. Good hustle

James is playing for himself. He wants to make sure he gets into the league and not just on a 2-way.

Really wish Ulis didn't need that surgery. The games would all be blowouts in the Suns' favor. James is selfish.

They just showed a clip of Bender clapping for the ball, James looking at him, and just ignoring him and going back to his dribble. Seems very selfish.

He's just coming off as Brandon Knight. Which should terrify the FO.
