Ahh, so we can agree that Tony Snell is a terrible defender then too right? Because basketballreference tells us he is.

Defense win shares -
Miles - 1.4
Snell - 1.3

DBPM -
Miles - -2.1
Snell - -1.1

I think we can all agree that using boxscore aggregates to measure defense, which is almost not measured at all by a boxscore, is v bad and unworthy of further discussion.

If someone scored twice as much per minute as another player, that means they're the same?

The Tim Hardaway Jr. situation is hilarious even by Knicks standards.

Meanwhile Phil is hanging back collecting checks for a job poorly done.

That's not how that stat works.

It's amazing to me that teams would sign their rookies to anything less than three years, given the low salaries.

I like Ron Baker but it's being generous to say that he was an NBA player last year (I mean, he was on an NBA roster, so technically).

Lot of teams worried that their guys are gonna pull a Kyle Singler.

And given that you would almost never have to guarantee all three years. Undrafted guys typically sign pretty much anything you put in front of them.
