Kenny Smith + these referees are the worst combo.

But I guess Chriss is happy now that he'll be back to his workout routine lol

So we are eliminated?

Im catching up on the game recorded on the dvr. Found it interesting during Bookers interview he made the comment that there needs to be intensity and that no one is to good for summer league. Wondering if that was a Chriss reference. He did seem to be less pouty today with a bit better body language.

It is kind of funny to say "NO ONE is too good for summer league" and not play in summer league. Not saying he should, but he's certainly eligible, and it probably would have helped everyone else.

Mike James is annoying. Hero ball loses games.

Guarantee he would have played if the FO wanted him to.

Refs made this a frustrating game, not sure why there needed to be 60+ foul calls in this game, especially with so many being touch fouls. Mike James really throws off things with this team, dude's a straight up ball pounding scoring guard that makes a couple nice passes a game so he has the numbers to look like a PG. I have no doubt this team would look better with Ulis running the show even if we have no shooters.

A bit better from showing from Quese today. He had a couple of really bad offensive fouls called against him today that contributed to his high turnover number, but he's definitely not ready to be creating his own offense frequently even though we're running a lot of ISOs for him. I like that he was money from the line and that he was getting there a lot today just by attacking the basket and boards.

I really liked what I saw from Bender in the first half, but he didn't close out the game like I had hoped. I'll have to go back to the third quarter/early 4th quarter because I missed it while driving, but I don't think he's getting involved enough on offense considering how much isolation stuff we run for Quese. I felt like he had a few nice passes to the perimeter, but our SL team has no shooters. Both Bender and Chriss look like they've put on some bulk, which is great, but it's time for them to lean that muscle mass out because they aren't quite as in shape/mobile as they need to be when the regular season comes around.

JJ had an alright game, I liked the vision and constant effort. We need to figure out ways to get him into space with a moving defender; it's not easy to ask him to go 1-on-1 off the dribble when he's not a big threat to shoot and we don't have a lot of spacing/shooters for him to kick out to with success. I think our core players look a lot better when Mike James turns into Bledsoe/Ulis and Booker plays the 2 instead of DJJ.

Never seen so many fouls before. Ruins the rhythm and makes it hard to watch.

Good first half but a very bad second half.

Josh Jackson was our best player.

JJ looked impressive. You would think we would be killing teams in the summer league with Bender and Chriss who saw significant NBA action last year but that is not the case. JJ seems to look better every game...

Replace James with Ulis and probably. James is a crappier version of Knight.

Knight is way better than James. Jesus. I don't want to see him again on this team.

Damn, the hate is hard. When we just signed a guy people think is way worse than Knight, not good. The bad thing is the team out there didn't seem to like him much, and I'm sure that last shot didn't help.

I don't mind Chriss' turnovers and fouls in SL. Refs are TERRIBLE and at least %60 of the fouls are not really fouls. For the turnover part, we are trying to expand Chriss' offensive game and making him learn how to play ISO and post-up on the court. It's a process needs patience.

JJ is awesome. He could have 30 points in this game if Ulis was running the team. His energy, pace, activity on both ends, vision, cutting is amazing. Also he was really good at shooting FTs in these 3 games. Shot 2/4 from 3pt too! My only critiscm for Jackson is on defensive side. He doesn't go over screens and gets past by quick players. Also doesn't contest 3pt shooters well.

Bender is really good when he is agressive on offense like in the first half. He needs to be consistent.

Mike James was really disapponting and killed the mood of the team in 2nd half.

Have we figured out why we were unwilling to keep Troy Williams but felt the need to invest in Derrick Jones Jr?
