Come on, man. Melo was good at several things but he had a lot of deficiencies as well. Let's not act like he was the poster child of a franchise leader. A lot of us are/were high on KP because of his mentality coming in. You, as much as anyone, knows that NY respects the hustle and little things.

If KP is leading by example, doing the little things like standing up in the huddles, playing team ball, working his ass off, taking D seriously, etc., NY will always love him.
