What's the point of cherry-picking stats to make our players look decent, when they just played one of the worst games of basketball that many of us have ever seen?

Said everyone about Dunn after last years summer league.

I don't recall Dunn being all that spectacular in summer league last season.

After game 1 this was written:
http://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/first-impressions-wolves-rookie-kris-dunn-is-going-to-be-a-problem/
But you can't deny the way Dunn looked in his debut either. A couple of scouts and people around the NBA compared him to John Wall -- whom Saunders coached in Washington -- for the way he attacks dribbling downhill. He doesn't have the quickness of Wall but he has a better jumper.

He averaged 24 /7/3 or something like that.

Lauri missed his shots today but they weren't bad. I like that he had 4 blocks and 9 rebounds as those were areas of concern for some people. He did look a little gassed at the end so he'll have to work on his conditioning, but that doesn't seem too bad as he probably hasn't been playing any real games since March.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

When your starting PG plays 28 mins and gets 1 assist, probably not going to end well.

There might be more faith in the architects of the rebuild if their first-round yield in the five drafts prior to this year had been more impactful than Marquis Teague (2012), Tony Snell (2013), McDermott (2014), Bobby Portis (2015) and Valentine (2016). Rotation guys, maybe, but the core of a younger, more athletic Bulls future? Hard to see.

There’d be more hope, too, if there was any history of Chicago luring big-name free agents in the prime of their careers to revive the excellence of the Michael Jordan-Scottie Pippen era, rather than staying away and shrinking from it. Fans have seen the brightest stars go elsewhere. No one’s buying the snake oil.

Two quotes from that article. The bolded says it all.

When starting PG doesnt even set offense, but just look for his shot everytime he gets the ball it's positive he had 1 assist.

I don't think people should be concerned about Lauri. He has the physical tools and skills. He will only improve. It's good to make mistakes now and struggle. I don't want him getting comfortable coming in to his rookie year. If he is mentally tough like what people say, he will work hard to improve his game.

As for Payne, the guy just isn't suited for the NBA. You would think a player like him who has experience compared to everyone in the Bulls summer league roster would do a lot better in the summer league. That's just not the case.

It's the little things that make this organization an embarrassment. I mean, misspelling your prized lottery-pick rookie that you basically traded your best player/All-Star for's name on his jersey is some stupid ****. Like, that kind of thing couldn't happen. People everywhere talking about that damn jersey and it's just embarrassing.

BUT THEN THE VERY NEXT GAME A GUY HAS A JERSEY WITH NO NUMBER OR NO NAME! It's like nobody in this **** organization cares about a God damn thing. Like, how can that mistake be made the first game AND THEN AGAIN THE VERY NEXT GAME. **** this team.

When you look at video highlights, the video is entitled as highlights. Suggest you do the same when you provide your statistical highlights, so as not to confuse other board readers.
