Saying it right now, Marcus Keene should be Walls backup PG, he can be a patty mills like player right away. Mac looks like a NBA player surrounded by scrubs.

We picked up Frazier for no damn reason

Mac, Cunningham, and Keane look legit. Young, the guy we gave the contract to looks like a turd. Ditto on McCullough.

Dude Michael Young is so bad lol. I can't believe we just tossed him a contract before one game.

Am I crazy for thinking Keene could actually give us a legit scoring threat of our bench

Ernie even does panic-signings on two-day contracts  , lets see how he does after the G-League stint.

I have to believe we are hiding Keene.

Agreed, started dropping buckets, immediately pulled for the rest of the game lol

Agreed on Mac and Cunningham.

I want to like Keane more than I do. I want to see him go into super aggressive mode.

Cunningham is legit trash. Mac is scoring off the dribble but still needs work on his jumper. He won't get in the rotation until he shows he can consistently make it. But he deserves a spot on the team. Keane can stroke it no doubt, but not sure he can really run the team. I'd probably keep him over Young, even though he apparently will sign a two-way deal. Keane just has to learn when to shoot and when to dish. How to trust his teammates. But he is definitely worth a training camp invite. So does Robinson. Nobody else impresses me and well, not sure anybody was impressive the entire SL other than Mac.

BTW. Chicago played to win. They had Valentine and Markkinen in for most of the game. I think the big Fin played like 35 of the 40 minutes, which is kind ridiculous for a SL game. Who cares if we had Frank Ross' kid in late in the game? These games don't matter and you wont remember October.

Disappointed with House. Thought he had a lot of potential. Still better than Ochefu though.

I really, really don't get all the Cunningham hate.

Is he a great two way player? No.

Is he a starter in the league? No.

Has he been a journeyman up until this point? Sure.

But he can create his own shot and has had a couple of really good offensive games. Most of these guys will never sniff the NBA.

Cunningham has and likely will again.

I would have agreed last year about House because I thought he and Mac were the best of a bad lot. But this year he was absolutely trash. Ochefu has surpassed him by far. If you are only looking at him blowing layups, you are missing the point. He's there for his defense and rebounding.

House had a really bad outing. An off shooting night can be excused, but he also made a few horrible decisions out there that demonstrated a lack of court awareness. Oof.

McCullough didn't get enough touches. That said, with his (alleged) athleticism and speed, he should be able to make an impact on the game in other ways. He had a nice block on the Bulls' shiny new lottery pick; other than that, he didn't look nearly as bouncy as he did yesterday. Perhaps he was out last night with Wall giving back to the community; I dunno. ;-)
Always remember, my friend: the world will change again. And you may have to come back through everywhere you've been.

Selfish player, poor passer, no defense. Basically just drove the lane without abandon and threw up shots trying to get fouls. Sorry. Not my type of player. We had that in Jordan Crawford. If he just played the game, relied on his shot and picked his spots, fine. Maybe he'll get a camp invite. I don't think he has much of a shot to make the team.

Except he's undersized and will get killed by NBA centers and has a 1" vertical. :-?

Keene has shown it all in my opinion, has a quick first step and a great handle to turn the corner on anyone, can find guys and get people open shots, his shot is lethal, NBA range.

I think he could legit be a scoring boost for us off the bench.

I actually thought Roberts looked intriguing.
He blocked shots, but didnt get caught in the air and stayed down with hands straight up.
He really moved his feet well and hustled from one end to the other.
He didnt get caught staring at the ball in the air. He looked for the guy that could take the rebound and immediately stuck a body on him.
I'd cut Ochefu, then Young (only cost 50k) and make Roberts and Robinson my two way players. I'd then sign Keene to the active roster

Wall / Frazier / Sato / Keene
Beal / Meeks / Mac
Otto / Oubre
Morris / Scott / McCullough
Gortat / Mahinmi / Smith

I don't think Keene will make it because he's not really a PG and he is too-short to guard NBA SG's
