Everything else he offers (passing, rebounding, driving, versatility on both sides of the ball, etc) will be what makes him elite.

I bet he averages more than 15 ppg this year, and if players like Magic and Chris Paul can average 20 ppg, I do t know why Simmons couldn't.

I'm thinking something like 14/7/7 with maybe 3.5 TOs for his rookie year.

simmons is not a scorer. and its nothing wrong with it, because we have enough scorers. embiid will score a point or more per minute. fultz will score a lot. redick will score a lot with a lot of open 3's.

on another team without those teammates, yeah he prolly could average 20 ppg, but thats not the ideal way to use him anyway.

i think he will get 9+ apg with 12-15 ppg along with 7 boards.

Simmons was a scorer at LSU. He can be a great one in the NBA if he has a solid mid-ranged jumper.

Not sure how much he'll score as a rookie, but at his peak I think he'll average upward of 20ppg.

I see him in the high teens-low 20s in terms of PPG as career high averages. I'd be surprised if he's around 25-26 a game at anypoint but something like 19-11(rebounds)-7(assist) as a cap and being a triple double threat every night because I expect him to be a tremendous stat padder. Hopefully winning impact follows the stats because he will get stats no problem.

He made 9 straight, tho, that's impressive in and of itself.

Shot looks better, smoother motion.

Yup. If Simmons can even be a 33% 3 point shooter that will be welcome. That will open up so much.

His shot looks much improved. If he can shoot halfway decently he'll be a monster.

I don't give a **** how many times it took to make 9 in a row. There's zero chance he was able to do that last year.

This is encouraging as ****.

Anybody can make 9 straight.

It's the form that you guys should be encouraged about, looks way better than it did when he first got to the league.

If Ben Simmons shoots like that in games.... which is an insanely big 'if' obviously, then he's going to be the 2nd best player in the NBA for a decade.

Behind Embiid.
