I hate to be that guy but I wouldn't be surprised if Hornacek wants Lin. Lin could play the role of Dragic in his preferred offense. Jersey wanting Anderson makes some sense too because they have some guards and are less tethered by salary concerns. In fact, they need to take some on and can offer relief. Also, they've been stockpiling low firsts.

I could see them as a third or fourth team easily.

I'm still having a hard time believing that mike d'antoni is ok with this trade. He's probably having flashbacks when melo gutted his old knicks squad.

Mike may want a sit-down with Melo prior to it being finalized. I could understand that.
