Yeah Melo has his Welo moments,probably because in his mind he still is the superstar that should be allowed to have his moments on the court. But you guys can't deny the fact that he was the only guy who gave KP ball in his first season. Melo was the PG of the team these couple of seasons just because our other PG's SUCK

the knicks will run more and get more easy points. but when they get forced in the half court they're gonna be really bad. they have no real point. they have no great individual scorer. you will see a lot of hero ball from timmy or kp because there will be no other option.

Two guys playing hero ball, even if each is less capable than Melo, is about the same as one guy playing hero ball. But in other parts of the game, I think they'll just look better. More entertaining. Ish was depressing the last couple of years.

I think they can turn the corner, is all I'm saying, and be watchable. But I agree that Timmy and KP will struggle in big spots.

Melo is too dangerous a scorer and we've upgrade the backcourt defensively. That could be recipe for a few extra wins.

If we come away with cap say 16 million. I'd give 6 to Rondo and 10 to Mirotic.

Well I don't think Timmy is an All Star and he won't do what he did in the famed Rockets game. But I wouldn't rule out that he can hit some big shots. He has guts.

I don't really understand why folks think replacing Melo with THJ is going to get KP more shots.

THJ will be easier for Horny to rein in. He won't have the clout Melo has <insert gif of Melo ignoring Horny's playcall>

I don't really think it's THJ versus Melo. Basketball is not that easy to do a kind of substitution-based analysis. I think the team is going to play differently without Melo. I'm not trying to say addition by subtraction, but as far as the depressing style of play, yes I think so.

I suspect that the Knicks will be targeting a point via trade but chances are they'll still be pretty bad.

Yeah, maybe not him, but there's gotta be some missing pieces and bad contracts coming our way. Do think its a really strong possibility he ends up on the Knicks though, if Port/Houst are involved
