I know the timing of this is awfully convenient now that he's a Laker but I never really saw KCP as a franchise changing free agent.

I'm sure the Lakers will be a little better this year, but they were really bad last year. Remember, they had that random winning streak at the end of the year or their record would have looked even more atrocious.

I'm actually pulling for them to get the 7th pick in the draft this year (1 would be ideal but I doubt that happens). Maybe we can find Redick's replacement in that range of the draft

I got a warning the other day talking **** to Lakers fans. They didn't like Ball getting trashed so they randomly started taking shots at the Sixers players for being injured, which for some reason, seems to be tolerated.

That mod is really bad. If his logic was applied to his own posts then he should be warned/suspended as well.

KCP to LA fills a giant hole in their starting lineup. The odds of the LA pick going to BOS just went down a bit. As of right now I'd put the odds close to 50/50.

I got yelled at him as well. Also got a PM from Miami Mod "DayofMourning". No one likes trash talkers on their board I guess.

I like how when they finally admitted to their team having tanked last year, it turned to

"Well we had to tank to keep our pick this year and in 2019"

Fanbases are quick to disparage the Sixers until they look down and see the rubber pad going round and round on their treadmill. Some just refuse to believe it isn't solid ground

We are in way better shape than the Lakers. I ain't even worried. They are not getting Lebron, and I still don't think they get George. He will have much more attractive options next year basketball wise.

Reports the season could be starting 9 or 10 days sooner , should mean less back to backs and less Embid DNP's.

Chill with the criticisms, lol. I've talked to the GB mods about it before and they've said that they'd be stricter on trolling injuries, I'll do so again if it happens in the future.

Also, I'd suggest just generally not posting on other team's forums when something happens.

I am a little disappointed that Ersan took a one year six million dollar contract. The Sixers moved him because he wanted a multiyear contract and they only wished to give him a one year deal. He played well with Embiid.

Yeah this guy needs to either let people troll the Lakers or keep it down

you know there is a lot of good basketball discussion on here, but a lot of bandwagoners as well. just going through that Lonzo Ball thread makes me laugh a bit.

After the 1st SL game, this guy was a bust.

Now, GOAT. and whats up with the disproportionate amount of Bull fans who are getting on their knees for Lonzo?

what a country

Ball is a highly quality prospect. That's why. He is going to bring a title to the Lakers.

I'm not ignoring what he's done, he's been impressive and has dominated the competition. However, he's also only played against Kendall Marshall, Demetrius Jackson, and Larry Drew II. He avoided the only actual NBA defender he'd play against. I'm still curious how he's going to do against even marginally better defenders than those of the shorter and/or slower variety.

saw lonzo's highlights, wasn't all that impressed. he scored on guys who won't make the roster. it looked like a pickup game out there.

I like Austin he has a smooth shot and very quick reactions for a good size SG, but his defense against Alonzo was terrible. With his quickness, he should be able to stay in front of his guy. Send him to team defense school with Okafor.

John Salmons was, and forever will be the GOAT of SL

Ball is just a cheap carbon copy

If this list is wfat happens the the Sixers miss the playoffs winning about 40-41 games. If the Sixers win 41 games and still miss the playoffs would you guys be disappointed?

The only thing is they have us tied for the 8th best record in the east but give us the 6th best odds of winning a title from the east. Hmm. That's odd.

I think that has to do with Vegas being skeptical of Embiid playing near 82 games, but in a 7 game series (with no back to backs) he could easily be a huge factor

Personally, I think that's just the answer they gave to satisfy the masses as to why we chose to move him. I don't think we ever had any intention on using him beyond that tight little expiring window where we needed him. He was only ever a stopgap.
