Here's how you should read the return for the Knicks in NLR's trade proposal:

LOL DOLAN'S MONEY!!!! Stanley Johnson, Andrew Harrison, Houston 2020 1st round pick, Houston 2022 1st round pick top 10 protected

It's a lot of cap room to tie up but a pretty significant asset grab. I could get behind it.

By the time this deal is done it is going to turn into a 13 team, 36 player trade where a half dozen of the worst contracts in the NBA wind up on the Knicks roster for trading Melo and all they will get for it is a late first rounder and the rights to Frederic Weiss....
