I agree with you they will get the short end of the stick contract wise but it looks like there plan is to fill there Salary Cap with bad contracts that come with picks, young players etc... They got Carrolls contract for a late pick, acquired Mozgovs contract which is just as bad for DLo.

Then again they could close up shop and look to next year to add on and not be willing to take those contracts. Only reason I included them was because they need to add about 22 million in Salary to meet the Salary Base.

Noah's contract is worse than Mozgov's. And Russell, despite his shortfalls, is still a good prospect. I'm a believer in tanking and a believer that top-five picks have more chance to land you a star than mid-teen picks.

The Knicks have a license to tank this coming season and next. It's a perfect situation for a rebuild, I think.
