1) Heard Gar last night specifically NOT mention Valentine in PG competition. I think he's penciled in at SG/SF.
2) If SL is any indication of Hoiball (post Butler), it's definitely push the ball and shoot 3's early in clock. I think big problem that hasn't been discussed is lower shooting %'s due to fatigue of track meet.
3) I have noted a focus on defensive intensity - more than recent years. Not that it has meant better defense, but I'm seeing more effort and fewer uncontested shots.

Most disappointing NBA veterans
Chicago Bulls' veterans
The Bulls are the defending summer league champions, and with several first-round picks on the roster they figured to be contenders to repeat. Instead, Chicago got smashed by a combined 36 points in its first two games before getting a win Tuesday.
Rookie Lauri Markkanen led the summer Bulls in that game, with Denzel Valentine the only veteran to suit up. He shot 6-of-21, improving his shooting percentage to 27.2 percent this week.
Though he played well defensively, Kris Dunn shot 3-of-12 in his only appearance and Cameron Payne didn't show much improvement from last year's frustrating sophomore season.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

According to Joe Cowley, the Bulls are done with Payne... Says they'll cut him and go with Dunn as the starter at PG (and presumably have Grant back him up).

I think Valentine is targeted for the 3 at this point if you look at his height/weight/length combination. Plus he can handle the ball and has better vision/a better shot than Paul Zipser. I think the future is Dunn/LaVine/Valentine/Markkanen/Lopez (until Lopez probably gets traded in the near future).
It's definitely push the ball, but they're focusing on the extra pass and playing unselfish ball (post Butler). It's fun basketball to watch and tough to defend when it's running smoothly (think Golden State).
Our defense is solid, it's a lot of switching (which can get you burned) but regardless we still were 6th in the league last season.

Even our FO is not that stupid.

He's been beyond bad, but the new CBA allows for 2 extra roster slots for G-League. Chicago is the opposite of Sinatra's New York - If you can't make it here, you won't make it anywhere...Da Bullz.
I like just focusing on developing Dunn. Problem with Dunn is that he is a terrible pairing with Wade (assuming he's around for at least half a season). If we are starting Wade, we probably need to start Grant. Dunn/Lavine, Holiday, Valentine are all better pairings because those 3 have 3pt range, which will make Dunn's development much easier.

I didn't watch the game, so others seeing this action during the game probably has more insight, but just from looking at this it doesn't look like there were any malicious intent, he was just trying to get him in the right spot but it looked worse because of the force that he shoved his teammate. Usually, teammates give a nudge, or point to where the teammate should be, not shove them with such force.
I don't think it's a big deal at all, and thinking from the side of the teammate who was shoved, I wouldn't have taken any offense to it at all and probably would of had a laugh with Denzel about it after the game. In the heat of the moment, teammates argue, instruct each other and all that type of stuff, this doesn't seem all that negative at all.

That looked more like a "*****! didn't I tell you to get your ass back there on D?"
Which considering how Val cannot guard a paper bag weighed down by brick is hilarious.
