If lebron will go to LA in 2018, wouldn't Lonzo be in Wiggins situation 2.0? Gets traded for a Win now allstar ala kevin love? I know it's a year after but Lonzo will have very high value. Would magic even do that?

MrBigShot wrote:Man Ball's court vision is really special. He doesn't necessarily look to make a flashy pass either, he just makes the most efficient pass at the right time and recognizes gaps that you don't even realize are there until he makes the pass. Not very many PGs in the NBA presently with his court vision.

He plays like a 10 year vet. Never rushed, always a step ahead. It's truly a joy to watch him operate an offense. And this is with a bunch of scrubs.

Lakers are gonna be fun as hell to watch once Magic upgrades the talent. Showtime Lakers type stuff.

Honestly it was such a quiet 36. He wasn't forcing a damn out there. Let the game come to him. Gonna be scary good

This has been the most impressive all around draft class that I can remember in quite some time. It is going to be interesting to follow these guys.

People don't remember this but a reason why lebron wanted wiggins traded was because he was supposed to sign with rich Paul but spun him last minute

Ball is going to put up some insane assist #'s when he's surrounded by actual NBA talent.

He and Brook Lopez will be a really nice combo.

Lonzo can very well be one of those players that will play his entire career with the Lakers. All he had to do with takents like Lebron and PG13..... be a facilitator. He needs to work on his defense too.

I dont really care all that much about his scoring because I just dont think its going to be a big aspect of his game and I dont think it will need to be. The thing I did like was when he did get into the pain he actually took the shot. The 1st game every time he got into the paint he would just kick it out. 22 assists and 19 rebounds in his last game. He definitely looked like the Lonzo Ball I was expecting these last 2 games, when just looking at his style of play.

Why would someone with a 'sore groin' play so much game time?

Because it wasn't his groin that was sore, it was his vagina

This was also the best case scenario for Ingram as well. Ball is going to be a guy that is going to get Ingram so many easy shots in transition and in the half court and isnt a guy that is going to take away any shots either. Lonzo can attempt 2 shots in a half and he would be cool with it. Another guy that I think is really going to benefit is Julius Randle.

Remember a draft class with this many prospects shining in Summer League? Trying to think of a guy who's struggled so far and I'm drawing a blank. Some reaaallly good talent coming into the league. Which is awesome.

Anyone just watch Ku, Zu, and Zo?

Post#2055 » by Soupman » Thu Jul 13, 2017 4:49 am

Anyone just watch Ku, Zu, and Zo? Is Zo a Jason Kidd clone? The improvement game to game is showing. What is the LAL shooting percentage with him in the game?

That was a pretty good game. Hopefully the Lakers meet up with us in the semifinal.

Zo,Zu and Ku vs Ding,Dennis, and Yogi. Book it!

That's cool. Lonzo's still gonna be a good player and will elevate the talent around him. Wouldn't shock me at all if he had the most titles out of anyone in his draft class when it's all said and done. Holywood market, historic franchise, Showtime Lakers style = guys will wanna play with him.

You know what, believe it or not a thread for summer league exists, you guys don't have to make a new thread every two seconds about Lonzo and the Lakers! Crazy right!?!?

Nah it'd be a free agent haul. LeBron, George, Cousins, Wade, Anthony all hitting the market. Lakers have enough to sign 3-5 of them depending on paycuts while likely keeping Ball, Ingram, Nance, Hart, Kuzma, Zubac. Randle and Clarkson would be dealt to a team taking on the Deng contract giving lakers $80m cap space.

This could happen:
Ball, LeBron, George, Ingram, Cousins
Wade, Hart, Kuzma, Nance, Zubac

It's all very possible, whether or not it happens remains to be seen.
