I could see the Sunset being involved but not Houston. I see a trade involving the Knicks, Cavs and Phoenix with the Cavs getting Melo, Suns getting Love and Knicks getting Bledsoe plus picks.

ULIS ULIS ULIS ULIS ULIS PLEASE

We'd have a 3 guard rotation set for the next 5-10 years. Ulis is a starting PG in this league, and would be a fantastic 6th man once Frank develops. Anybody that was not watching him the last 2 months missed out. Dude is a pure PG, plays very good defense, and is a real player in this league.

What's the scoop on Brandon Knight?

We better not take on Knight, dude was benched last year and has 3yrs 45 million left on his contract. When Bledsoe got shut down, dude refused to play. Not the type player we need here

My dude you still saying the same thing. HE WILL BE A BACK UP. That will be his long term role. He damn sure won't be the starter over frank. Dude is a seat warmer.... You hyping him like he will be some stud starter for us and he won't be.

Second of all. Knicks paid Baker 4.5 million and he WILL plays PG alot. We have no one else. It dont matter what Baker is...Its obvious the Knicks view him different.

Stop hyping a cat who will be a back up for us.

Fam, you know I'm a Ulis stan. Why you gotta ruin my dreams like this?

It's obvious we're looking for starting PG's still in the interim. Wouldn't you rather have a potential core piece than a vet? We know Horny loves multiple PG lineups, so a 3 guard rotation of Frank/Ulis/THJ can definitely work.

You start him in the short term, move him to the 6th man role in the long term. Baker is making 4.5 million, but I genuinely believe that's as a backup 2 guard. The fact that we're going after Bledsoe shows that we are still in market for PG. Would you prefer us go after Bledsoe at 27 or Ulis at 21?

Its not about what I would rather have. Im 100% confident The Knicks are not looking at Tyler. Jeff wants Bledsoe if these rumors are true. Thats who he Knows.

This makes sense except Cavs don't want to move Love

Well, I was more debating what I'd want the Knicks to do rather than what the Knicks might actually do so I can respect that.

Bledsoe is underrated, but this is clearly a bandaid move. Bledsoe is an injury prone player who's game relies on athleticism. I don't know how well his game will age in 2-3 years. Fit wise, he makes sense with Frank.

Baker has a TS% of 45% and shot 26% from 3. I know some heads like him. I'm not a fan personally.

If I'm Mills, I target Ulis. But that's me.

What's the scoop on Brandon Knight?

Knights got probably the worst PG instincts in the NBA for someone playing big minutes. He's basically an inefficient volume SG in the PG's body. Never been a fan. Not since I first saw him play at Kentucky. He's just not a instinctive passer. He'll run plays sure, but brutal free lancing (which is kinda what you will need in an uptempo modern day offense). It takes him like a second or so between the time his eyes sees the play and his hands actually passes. Brutal.

Now while I'm dubious the Knicks can actually get Bledsoe, I very much believe that the Knicks are asking for Bledsoe. Bledsoe is only 27, his contract is not onerous (2 years left at about $17 million per) and he is coming off a season where he averaged the most points (21.1), assists (6.3) and free throw attempts (an impressive 6.9). Bledsoe however has been pretty much on and off in terms of injury from year to year...almost like clockwork. Every even year he's spent in the NBA he's missed about 50% of the games. This upcoming year? Well, it's an even year. But he's still a MUCH better option than Brandon Knight. It would be a coup if Mills can get Bledsoe for Anthony IMO. Maybe it'll work out. He does his usually even year health hiatus, the Knicks end up with a top pick, he can still "mentor" on the sidelines and then we look at finally being somewhat happy camper fans in 2018-2019?

Reuniting Bledsoe with Hornacek is not the worst thing, there just will be no tank in the sorry ass Eastern conference if we do get him. I think we would be a 6,7, or 8 seed with Bledsoe at point.

If Bledsoe was injury prone in PHOENIX wth do you think he'll be if he comes to NY? His career might be over this year if he comes to NY.

For some reason, as they get closer to trading Melo, I'm getting sad. He wasn't perfect but he's one of the best players in NYK history.

Thought the goal was 25 and under players!!! Bledsoe will ruin the tank.

Bledsoe has missed about 50% of the games every even season he's been in the NBA. This upcoming season is an even season for him. So the tank still may be fine.

Sources: Knicks and Rockets inching closer and closer to deal. Teams are now "at the one yard line."

It makes me sad too. What could have been if we only could have got him as a fee agent instead of that trade. Whats done is done. Time to move on.
