Do you all like what he did for Sacratomato?

He's literally only been in that job for a few weeks. He was with Orlando last year.

So he was there for the draft and i think they had the best draft of every team ion the NBA and have also had a pretty good free agency.

supposedly he also draft Kevin Durant...and he was in the Kings draft room this year...and the kings had a GREAT draft.

when I first red we get a kings guy to be our new GM...i first said great we plucked a GM from arguably a worse franchise then ours. But I read up and he's had a lot of success of being part of rebuilding teams. Seems pretty good at drafting/evaluating young players...

He was only vice presi. Came to the kings and they look like they took a completely different approach.

he was never the GM of the magic. He was making draft picks

Oladipo/Gordon/Payton aren't bad picks. Mario was his worst there.

I kinda like that he was able to make a difference in Sacto. That is a franchise that has a worse owner and consistent history of dumber decisions than us.

No he can't be signed and traded by them.

I believe with the Dolan-Blows-League-Office-Provision, we might be able to.

But to be honest

"In his time in Orlando, Perry helped draft Victor Oladipo (2013), Aaron Gordon and Elfrid Payton (2014), and Mario Hezonja (2015) in Orlando."

None of those guys are any good. Oladipo OK rest pretty trashy. Kings have a good draft on paper but that doesn't mean anything until the season starts.

Gordon & Payton looking real shaky.
Oladipo cool. Mario is trash & a half, correct.

They seem to have scouted this guy pretty well. Its far removed from the big name chasing brass is known for.

He made a HUGE difference this offseason with Sacto.
Just gotta wonder how much power he'll have here.

What difference did he make? They are still trash.

We could just Frankenstein CREATE a GM.

Y'all kill me.
He drafted Fox, J.Jackson, H.Giles, Frank Mason. Signed Bogdan Bo-whoever-vich along with vets George Hill (at a great number), Zach Randolph and Vince Carter.

IDK man that orlando draft history stinks. I'm not a fan of Justin Jackson or Harry Giles either.

Picking Durant 2nd was a no brainer. Really doesn't say much about his drafting. Picking Mario Hezonja 5th says a lot more considering who they passed on.

Well it's refreshing we went for an executive that has paid his dues but hasn't been given the opportunity to be in a General Manager position
