It's a promotion for him so it would pretty low to request compensation.

It's about wins and losses. Other teams have great scouts, you should check out their records.

Just because you aren't winning doesn't mean you don't have good scouts.

Well then, maybe our scouts need to do a much better job finding players that compliment the system we are trying to play. Our advanced scouts also need to do a much better job once the season begins. Scouting also involves players that are already in the league. There is much more to it than just the draft. But lots of teams find diamonds in the rough either through the draft or players who have been released and some go on to become stars.

Any good President/GM coming here would have cleaned house by now. And the jury is still out on KP. At 7-3 you better learn how to be a great passer.

Scouts have nothing to do with a President/GM cleaning house, whether or not players they recommend are actually able to be acquired, or KP developing his passing.

As a promotion, wouldn't we not have to give compensation, or was this proven not to be true (about promotions)?

It works that way in the NFL, I'm not positive in the NBA, but I would think it's the same.

At this point if I'm Morley I tell NY to tuck it and **** themselves.

As much as I want to get rid of Ryno, I do think he'd fix his home shooting issues and playoff shooting with both Harden and Paul initiating offense.

Plus it'd give the youngsters an opportunity to steal some of his minutes.

Since NY is being difficult with a player they clearly don't want and who Cleveland seems to be out on let them figure it out.

Seriously Morey, tell them to **** off.

from a rockets fan...do they really think they have this kind of leverage...your trading Ryan Anderson for Melo...you are giving up picks to make this deal happen...deal with it.
4-Peat! 22-25 BAF Champion Spurs:

ROSTER

Walker Kessler/Daniel Gafford/Adem Bona
Nikola Jokic/Santi Aldama/Isaiah Stewart
Aaron Nesmith/Josh Hart/Jaime Jaquez
Alex Caruso/Keon Ellis/Justin Champagnie
Steph Curry/Chris Paul/Ryan Rollins

Might just be better off letting him play out his contract and waiting for Mills to **** us with another stupid free agency signing.

Even if the trade was great people here will still hate it in spite.......

Even if the trade is terrible, people will put on their blinders call it great and accuse all opponents of said trade of being "haters."

Basically, it's Morey balking at giving a pick to both Portland AND the Nets
