We should stall the trade until the new GM gets integrated over the course of the next 6-8 weeks. Let him get settled and have his input first.

Not done necessarily but it made sense that they were waiting for input from the new GM before making a move. Finalizing a Melo deal before bringing on a new GM would have been trouble.
