Personally, I would get a 3rd or 4th team involved, so we don't have to take on Anderson's contract. He's 29 and has 3 years left on a bloated contract. Trading Melo for him doesn't really help the Knicks much salary cap wise. Ideally, I'd like to see Melo go to Rockets, Anderson goes to TEAM X, and we taken in picks from the rockets and Team X, and probably a scrub or 2 as well. Obviously that's drastically over simplified, but something like that I'd be really on board with. I don't want more aging vets with big deals.
