Knew this would happen yesterday. Just felt it. This sounded like something that should've been over with on Tuesday.

This is fine. No trade is better than a bad trade. Those teams better up their offers or no Melo for them. We can lose with or without Melo.

It's better than making a deal just to make a deal. I get the frustration but if we were receiving proposals that sucked, better to keep him and possibly move him later in summer or during the year.

If you dont want a terrible contract like Anderson, you're not getting anything other than a buyout to get him off the roster. Carmelo's value is rock bottom and he's using it as leverage. The guy swindled the Knicks worse than Revis swindled Woody the second time around.

So are we actually pretending to be mad that Steve Mills isn't negotiating the trade anymore?

rockets never could make a good trade offer. because that ryan anderson deal is hard enough to move on it's own. even if someone takes that, another bad contract has to go somewhere.

Pure leverage they want to satisfy Harden right?

Or they can genuinely think they can make it work. East is weak, play-offs would be nice. :nonono:

this is obviously a play to pressure HOU to add the additional asset(s) to move leonard. Its seems pretty simple. Morey you better blink.

The longer the deal was delayed, you got that inkling...

Phils the only one in the organization who wanted him out

Dolan loves him and Caa is running things again so Melos staying and like always well be shooting g for the 8th seed next year and not rebuilding

What's to convince? Who needs playoff runs when you can possibly make a few more all star games

We gain nothing but long pull up 2's, ISO's, Waiving the point guard off to bring it up himself, and pull-up brick 3's when the team is on a run because of team play if we keep him.

The real loser if we keep Melo is KP..Another lost year in his development to being a true franchise player.. Unless Melo legitimately takes a major step back
