Jordan Bell 3 steals, 2 blocks in 19 minutes.

Dennis Smith and Justin Jackson with 22 points in their game.

Seems people were right about the loaded draft even this early on.

Well I was thinking that was it but they said we would move to the other side of the bracket. If that's right, it's great to know we will get more games.

Trying to forget...

Dude is a crappier Brandon Knight. He makes no one around him better. Sure, he puts up numbers sometimes, but at the detriment of actually winning games.

Josh Jackson hates Mike James. For real.
He had complained about not getting the ball yesterday already.

The face he made when James called off the original play (where Jackson was setting a high screen) and then screwed up and tried to blame it on him was priceless.

tbh hero ball was still the issue, he waved JJ away to try and take it in ISO

I know...it was clear he wanted to take it so of course JJ was going for the offensive rebound and then James tries to pass thinking JJ would be ready...why would he be after getting waved off?

Mike James has played a terrific game, we did not have too many options out there on offense without Chriss.

If not for him we lose by 20. He made a big mistake in the final possesion, but until then he played great.

Second consecutive great game by Bender. Really happy about it. He went to the rim hard for a couple of times...I loved it. His passing has been really good too, 5 assists tonight.

These last two games give me hope about Bender, I can see now that his improvement is for real.

DJJ....what can I say? He is not an NBA player IMO, I understand that he is 20 and he has a low salary as a end of the bench roster spot, but players like Harrelson/Reed outplayed him in Summer League.

Jackson played a solid game, probaly he could have made a little bit more defensively. Selden is good.

Hopefully Chriss recovers his ankle injury in less than a couple months and he can be ready for training camp.

Classic fundamental mistake. Never jump to make a pass. Players like Mike James are all raw talent and no IQ or fundamentals. I think Bender had just as good a game as James even though he scored less because he was in control more often, constantly making correct reads instead of single mindedly trying to beat the guy in front of him. Bender, however is all fundamentals and little talent, so pick your poison I guess.

He was trying to set up a drive and kick play but clearly there was miscommunication between the two. JJ dove in expecting the pass but James was gonna kick out to JJ who he thought was going to be at the 3.

It's not the worse play but obviously it wasn't run very well.

I don't know how you can say Bender has little talent after they way he passed the ball tonight. He knows where to be and always makes good decisions. If not for always being parked at the 3 pt line this past year, I think we would have seen more of what we saw tonight.

No he never intended to drive and kick he just tried to shoot and realised he can't so he tried to pass in mid air. That's why Jackson was going for the offensive rebound.

Given James' propensity to play hero ball, I'll lean towards your assessment.
