If Melo takes a dribble again in a Knicks uniform, I'm gonna punch someone

Whatever deal Houston has been proposong isn't going anywhere. Patience is the right play here. We all gave Mills crap for this move that wasn't even made and now that we are showing restraint it shows we aren't making moves just to make moves.
Yes but they also mention Knicks interest to keep Carmelo Anthony. It could be a smokescreen we really don't know right now. Clearly Perry has impacted the Knicks train of thought and until we know what he's planning we can't assume that Melo will be traded.
Sure we don't know, but we can make an educated guess. I hate Bondy but he's right. After all this time and NOW we want to keep him? I doubt it. We are in no rush. Houston needs him. Morey has said they are all in because they have to be. We have more leverage than people realize.

If Phil pulled that off, I would put a put a paper bag over my head, paste a picture of Jeannie on it, poke a hole through the mouth, and give Phil the best BJ he's ever had in his entire life.[/quote]

Two months is a long time to work out a deal.

Pssst
That's the point of a leverage play, if they know it's a leverage play, they won't give in

Re: The MeloPause Trade Thread
It would funny if this was Perry making up for the Pistons not drafting Carmelo, and now he's not willing to trade him.
Carmelo is the kind of person everyone warns you about and you refuse to listen, and in end you learn the hard way.
