What's the issue with what Valentine did? His teammate literally wasn't listening or where he was supposed to be. Valentine physically put him there.

Not malicious. What's the big deal?

You gotta be playing extremely well yourself and also good on D before you can do that. Val was not and is not doing either of those things.

I didn't watch the game, so others seeing this action during the game probably has more insight, but just from looking at this it doesn't look like there were any malicious intent, he was just trying to get him in the right spot but it looked worse because of the force that he shoved his teammate. Usually, teammates give a nudge, or point to where the teammate should be, not shove them with such force.

I don't think it's a big deal at all, and thinking from the side of the teammate who was shoved, I wouldn't have taken any offense to it at all and probably would of had a laugh with Denzel about it after the game. In the heat of the moment, teammates argue, instruct each other and all that type of stuff, this doesn't seem all that negative at all.

That looked more like a "*****! didn't I tell you to get your ass back there on D?"
Which considering how Val cannot guard a paper bag weighed down by brick is hilarious.

Valentine said he's trying to be a better leader on the floor and etc and does that? Likes seriously hows that being a leader that's more like being a **** ****. I get the other dude was being a dumb-ass but **** man that's really uncalled for.

It was hilarious but at the same time, you cannot do that.

I disagree. Both Markkanen and Blakeney have had better SLs than Bell.

Lauri Markkanen
3 GP, 32.8 MPG, 29.3% FG, 24% 3P, 92.3% FT, .7 TOVPG, 1.7 PFPG, 9 RPG, 1 APG, 1 SPG, 1.7 BPG, 14 PPG, 44.9% TS, 36.6% eFG, 19.5 PER

Antonio Blakeney
4 GP, 26.7 MPG, 43.8% FG, 64.3% 3P, 64% FT, 1 TOVPG, 1.5 PFPG, 5 RPG, .5 APG, .8 SPG, 0 BPG, 16.8 PPG, 56.8% TS, 53.1% eFG, 22.7 PER

Jordan Bell
4 GP, 22.1 MPG, 62.5% FG, 0% 3P, 100% FT, 2.8 TOVPG, 2 PFPG, 9.8 RPG, 2 APG, 1.8 SPG, 2.8 BPG, 5.2 PPG, 63.9% TS, 62.5% eFG, 20.8 PER

He's had a great SL, but people are getting a little too carried away. The guy can't shoot at all, turns the ball over way too much, and for all the raving about has rebounding is barely doing it better/more than Markkanen (or Blakeney's last two games, for that matter). He's not a great passer and while he's been blocking up a storm, the guy simply has no offensive game. He can't score. He fits well with GS, but Markkanen and Blakeney have both looked better, in my opinion.

Despite having 'no offense', Bell is ahead of Markkanen and just behind Blakeney in PER, a stat that rewards usage and ignores defense. Once you factor in defense, you can forget about it.

The eye test is subjective, but ave you watched GS' games? Some of these blocks are positively ridiculous. Bell is a smart athlete who's been killing it at the rim and on the perimeter. And the passing critique is off base -- he definitely has some knack there.

Anyway, Markkanen is probably the better prospect, but to say any of our guys have been better than Bell in summer league doesn't pass the smell test.

No. We play PHI tomorrow at 8:30PM Eastern/7:30PM Central. That will be our last game.

It's only destined to play last game against team which ends a tanking process as the new one begins one.

Wow Dennis Smith just over jumped a dunk that would've shut down summer league. Holy ups...

Our failure to draft DSJ and our trade of Bell are still really getting me down. Was so upset on draft night. Even more angry now.

The point is the Bulls could of had all of them. Instead they chose to sell Bell for a minuscule bit of cash in a cheap and unprecedented move for a big city franchise supposedly rebuilding and looking for any and all young players who have potential. This after saying there was no room for him then they dump the stiff Joffrey. The blatant lying to fans and money grabbing so Reinsdorf can buy his 28th Bentley is just so tiresome year after year to a fan base that deserves so much better and made him a billionaire.

A lot of the rookies have been impressive so far. However, let's see which players can transfer those skills onto the regular season.

Markkanen has a lot of ways to go, but his size, physical tools, and skills-set are transferable.
