Jesus the stupidity on this board is mind boggling sometime. How do you confuse Scott Skiles for JJ or Nash or Hayward?!

In my opinion, I am not going to limit it and say, "if he can shoot xx% next year, then damnnnn".

He may shoot 40%, 45%, 30%, who knows? We haven't seen a Ben Simmons who actively takes multiple 3pt shot attempts in any situation during games.

So, we don't know for sure what a baseline to set would be for our expectations.

If BS can come out and be confident in his shot, and at least attempt some 3s, and then they go in, this team is immediately much different.

If you've got Simmons hitting 3s consistently and confidently, I mean...its going to be insanely fun.

Standing next to Lebron James who is 6ft 8".... I'm afraid to say Ben Simmons is nowhere near 7ft. Still looks 6ft 10 to me.

Why does Simmons have to shoot many 3s? If he takes wide open 3s, I'm sure he'll be fine. Simmons already has a good midrange shot over good defense. His release is high and difficult to block. Actually, he seems to lean back too much, kinda like Andrew Toney's release. If he goes straight up or a little forward, he could have more success. Also, With Fultz, Redick, and Covington, plenty of 3s will be falling.

Yeah every pic looks different, it also depends on the angle. I would say 6'10" 1/2, lol

anyone else ever get the feeling that Ben Simmons doesnt truly want to play for the Sixers, and he will leave in FA the first chance he gets?

Im really not sure why Im feeling like this, but something just doesnt seem right. Im kind of big on reading into people's body language and facial expressions, and he always looks like he would rather be doing anything else.

"oh, you cant take a couple of bad photos of him and apply that mentality to him thats not fair"

except its not just "a couple of bad photos", literally every time I see this guy he has this smug and too cool for everyone look on his face. the only times he really seems happy is when he's with stars from other teams

idk, just something ive been thinking of. maybe he just has one of those faces lol

nightmare scenario: Embiid cant stay healthy after getting a max, Simmons leave in free agency, Fultz isnt really a first option but we max him anyway, we draft another Jahlil-type with Lakers or Kings pick, and our own picks are in the 20s until it all falls apart

sorry I had to say it

If he played under the QO. He would never do that. That would be turning down 150 million for 7 million.

Yeah, when was the last time a team lost a big name FA who they wanted to keep, less than 7 years since drafted? I think Shaq in 1996, under the old CBA.

Well from another point of view, he could be being nice and happy around them to attract them to come here.

Just depends on how you look at it, but he isn't hanging around Bron or other good players by accident.....not like he is going to the Cavs.
