After Simmons signing, Mario is gonna be traded at some point. He will get DNPs again and after that he will be traded. Maybe before allstar.

I still think Hezonja gets a shot. If he's a throw-in to a bigger deal, I get that. But he's got no trade value on his own and too much upside to abandon in a wait and see/development season. He's just as big as Gordon, has a stroke that vanished, swagger that vanished...there's too much there to not at least let him fight. He's probably an insecure, very young kid from a foreign country who played for multiple coaches along with national team for a whirlwind couple of years. I wouldn't bet on him, but I also wouldn't be shocked if he contributes and finds a role this year. #5 may have been a reach, but it's not like he wasn't on the league's radar coming in. His size and (projected) skill set fits modern NBA.

There'a a chance he could go to the G league if he doesn't get minutes for us! Him and Isaac could both see time down there this season unless we free up a roster spot via trade!

I really think the coaching staff might do this because the last thing we want is Mario to sit again without developing...

Dude really needs a fresh start.

No idea what position he is now. Came into the NBA looking like a sg. Played sf. Now talk of pf?

What is his position?

I have doubts that it is NOT the coaches/organizations fault.

It has taken them 3 seasons to figure out Gordon is a pf, they they go draft another sf/pf hybrid. No idea if these two can play together (I think they can defensively)

It's been 2 years, no idea if hezonja is a sg/sf/pf or a NBA player.

As the lakers, I would offer sg josh hart (pick 30 2017) for hezonja and I feel like that is about as high as I would go value wise

Year 3, and the "G" league is being talked about? This dude was hitting big shots and playing at a high level in the best league outside of the NBA on a championship level team

Someone give this man a chance

i liked Hart for the draft, but Orlando is loaded with SG's, no reason to make that trade. sometimes, Euro players need a couple of years to adjust to the NBA, especially to learn how to play NBA defense. the possible upside makes no reason for Orlando to trade him right now. He is spending the summer in Orlando working with the coaches rather than go back home and work out on his own. We will all be watching his play to start the year off.
