Smith getting all they hype even when he misses a dunk smh, what were Knicks thinking... a shame Frank couldn't play in the summer league as it would have answered a lot of questions we have as Knicks fans to see him play against the other top picks.

If Frank turns into a Rondo type, I don't care if Smith is a young Baron Davis or Steve Francis. But that is a big If regarding Frank

Frank is going to be good, it just comes down to how good are the guys after him going to be. I loved Smith but the question I always had with him was his pace for a full game/season and injury risk. Without those questions Smith looks like an elite level point guard. I personally thought Donovan Mitchell was a stud and we were going to draft him. Only time will tell, it doesn't help seeing these other guys show out in summer league. Reactionary fan base, we all do it. We are in a pretty good spot though versus where we have been in the past despite how poor of a job Phil did.

for all his many mistakes the triangle wasn't such a big one

perhaps it was pushing the name over the concept, as you just described it, of moving the ball and moving without the ball

i dont know why thats controversial or outdated

It doesn't matter what Phil called it, the media already decided it was the triangle and that the triangle was the devil.

haha just a question !! im not specially a fen either of him, but if there is one team that can be stupid enough to sign him ... its the knicks ! and im sorry to say that, but it's true !
We dont see or hear abour him in the SL in France ! and i often see him in the team's projection in other topics so I was just wondering

Based on Smitty's report it sounds like he does have good tools. I could see a team like the Spurs trading us a top 55 protected 2nd for him and cash. Nets would also be an ideal fit to sign him to a 2-way.

I gotta say he is by far the shortest 6'10'' player I have ever seen. His profile says stretch 4/5. His presence on the court makes him look like a SF that can't play. Think Lance Thomas body, Robin Lopez game.

Jamel Artis should get a camp invite. Solid size and really likes to play that point forward role and move the ball around.

LOL You can't argue your opinion as fact. You have no way of knowing you're opinion is even correct. Let it play out. Smith looks good in SUMMER LEAGUE. Let's see him against NBA level defense before thinking he's the greatest. We haven't seen either kid play an NBA game. Jimmer was a D League beast. How'd that work out.
