If you don't dominate in the summer league you have no business in the NBA

When you're a 24 year old rookie from a blueblood program (Syracuse by way of Duke) that enjoyed statistical (18/4/4) success and appeared to have a translatable skill (39% from three) with a solid body (6'7" 200), it should be safe to assume that you're NBA ready.
He wasn't NBA ready. He isn't even summer league ready. I don't get it.

Between Bradley and Kennard and Mitchell and Stanley the SG position should be held down pretty well, but if a signing needs to be made elsewhere then Gbinije is first in line to be waived.

So the Pistons have an open roster spot again. Well, technically they already had five since offseason rosters are up to twenty but you all know what I mean.

Doesn't Syracuse have a pretty high bust rate for these players?

Kay Felder....Still should've been the pick.
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

Truthfully, he's looked pretty outmatched thus far as well.

Yeah, I still would have preferred to have failed with Felder over failing with silent G.

MG brings a ton of versatility and ball handling, he's still trying to figure the game out but the game is there. I predict him to become a rotational player some place if not here.

I remember wanting to trade up to get Demetrius Jackson who went four picks earlier - he was released by the Celts yesterday as well.

We should sign him to a 2 way deal

Dude got squeezed out in Boston - doesn't mean he's finished as a prospect

I like James Young, Demetrius Jackson and Jordon Mickey all from the Celts who were squeezed out. Young is probably still too high profile being a former mid-first rounder, but he's from Flint and only 21yrs old - I'd offer him a two way deal. I might even burn our 15th roster spot on him. But I'd talk to Avery Bradley and see what he said about Jackson and Mickey and if he thinks they're good dudes and fits here I'd look at both for two-way deals as well.
