Good comp. JJ is going to be one of those player who does not need plays drawn for him. So much like Marion--but you can understand him when he talks.

Is Jackson likely to start after his SL showing?

That's not including Tatum's games in Utah but it's telling how JJ has played across the board. I can't find JJ's free throw numbers but I'm guessing they're much better than his freshman year. Maybe the made some tweaks.

48% Two, 18% Three, 64% FT.
Glass half full it's a good baseless before he gets an outside shot.

(Over Warren) best guess, the hype with a number 4 lottery pick who plays D and a few said could possibly develop into best player in a draft, on a team subscribing to a "The timeline" mentality:
Pre SL: 8/2 Warren
Post SL: 7/3 Warren
The preseason will be telling; apples to apples. They can both be analyzed at the same time, same situation, same lineups, etc. Warren should be the starter, but Josh has the house rules going for him, 5/5 favors JJ.
Defending 4's would extend JJ's season. But there may be a few teams/opportunities that would allow us to run EB, Booker, TJ, JJ and Tyson. That could be a fun/interesting lineups....albeit very rare.

Jackson's ability to rebound is similar to Marion, mainly both are so quick laterally and athletic... good sense of where the ball will go also helps.
But Marion is a better shot contest I think, mainly due to his longer wingspan. I think Jackson is still closer to iguadala but with a more competitive attitude so that can be a good thing and also a bad thing since he would get techs more.

Dragan had more assists than turnovers. Damn.
Give this guy a chance, please.

It´s gonna be a very exciting rookie class especially with Simmons from last years draft and compared to the snoozefest this year was after Embiids injury.

According to the vice article in the Bender thread he also doubled his assist rate, while cut his turnover rate to half in SL from last year.

Damn. Give this guy a chance, please.

Ball for me. After his game 1 stinker he played very, very well. Active. Aggressive. He finished well at the hoop. Passing was good too...

We'd always have the Lakers connection hanging over us. I'd prefer fultz but JJ would be my 2nd choice. Only way I take Ball is if the Lakers lost their pick.

I think the top 6 draft picks plays out exactly the same (DSJ threatens it, but because of injury hes a close 5 and 6 but goes 7, and could still be a steal
