KP looks fantastic, lean muscles and improved core strength. He is 7'3 with great mobility for that height, you don't want to mess that up. Also, why would anyone want to turn him into a traditional center? Let him be the next Dirk for eff's sake. That's his game, that's how he is going to become a superstar. Sure you add a little this and that to it, but that should remain his bread and butter.

Agreed but the chicken-and-egg problem with KP is that one of his key strengths and what would elevate him from Dirk is his shot blocking ability, which in today's league would be better utilized when he is put at the 5 rather than at the 4 wherein he has to chase guys at the perimeter.

No, I agree, on defense, I would put him at the 5 spot, whereas on offense he would be the 4. I was talking about offense, sorry for not making it clear.

Man, I wish Eurobasket started a month earlier. Would be perfect to get through these boring dog days of summer.

I don't know why, but I'm laughing over here at the tone of this post. I'm hearing an exacerbated, George Costanza voice in my head when reading it, picturing you looking at these pics and making crazy hand motions.

His stat production is on par or better tho. He's putting up the SAME PPG, RPG and BPG as Gasol in LESS (about 6 MPG less) too!

I feel like this is the supersized version of "Did you see how Crawford is bulking up this offseason?"

Im telling you, if Kp really wants to take a leap and do so at his own wieght class the player he really should be working out with is Kevin Mchale.

The guy looked like a heroine addict yet dominated. All about positioning, using your ass as leverage, multiple up and unders. It was beautiful. If KP could learn 40% of that stuff and keep his range its over
