We have the worst front office
In the NBA and it's not close. The thing I wanna know is...why do people make excuses for Gilberts ineptitude? He's been horrible for years. The more you make excuses and settle the more things stay the same.........

I guess it depends on what you constitute for FO to be. Ownership, mgmt staff, all of it, etc....
I think for the most part you're right. I think you could consider the Bulls worse than the Cavs. Knicks were up there, but got a tiny bit of hope once they let Phil go and quickly rehired new staff with a vision. Kings still have an incompetent boob for an owner and fairly inexperienced staff, but I also think Boogie was holding them back, so there's life for them now.
From an outsiders POV, I think the Cavs probably have the worst owner in sports. I've never seen an owner shoot himself in the foot as much as Dan Gilbert.

Yeah bulls, Knicks and kings are the theee I'd mention as the worst. Still a bad spot to be in and terrible company to be mentioning.
Gilbert has always involved himself way too much which has resulted in lots of bad decisions. For example overruling the Gm and drafting waiters because Byron Scott wanted him.
He's good because he spends but that's it. Terrible every other way and a complete douche.

Yeah, the fact I have to really think about the Cavs in connection with those 3 horrifically run franchises is really really bad. Especially considering the team has the best player the NBA has seen since Jordan.... The fact that it's looking like Gilbert will have alienated the best basketball player on the planet not once, but twice..... yeesh.

Re: We have the worst front office
original post made by a Spurs fan?
The Cav's are fine, the latest report about LBJ frustrations are unproven, just speculative.I don't buy it.
Obviously it would be nice if they could get another all star caliber player on the roster, but they would have to give up too much of the roster that makes them a contender in the first place.
This has nothing to do with Altman being incapable of filling Griffin's shoes or Gilbert being a meddling owner. It has to due with Indiana backing out of the only deal for a all star that was ever in play in the first place, not because of who was making decisions in Cleveland, but because of Indiana for starters not wanting to further increase the gap between them and contending by making the best team in the East even better than the one that swept them with PG13. As far as Butler, the Cavs do not have the younger upside players to offer a team like Chicago who is hellbent on a rebuild, so Chicago sent him to the most interested team that had said return to offer.
Crawford would have been nice, but they were wise not to empty the remaining money on an old player who they have too many of to begin with.
* Zillgitt of USA Today in his article about Lebron being frustrated calls Cedi Osman "Turkish Big Man" which completely discredits the article as bogus. He doesn't even know the personnel the Cav's have coming in. Osman is a wing and a long athletic one at that.
Zillgit also pumps up the GSW acquisitions of "shooters" Nick (no defense) Young and Omri Casspi ....Caspi really? he is a chump, and apparently so is Zillgitt

This is trolling. Don't do it again if you want to be able to post here.
