You actually did. It's called a no trade clause, not a trade me where I want to go clause.
The Knicks are not obligated to engage in any trade talks, and very easily can just go about their business with building their young roster. What value does his no trade clause have then?
None, because he can't go anywhere he wants without the team making a deal.
To do that to a guy who went
all out for the past few years and made the Knicks the most relevant they have been in years would be wrong. The only thing Memo has done wrong is play for bad management. Trade him and end this era without dragging him through the mud. He represented the Knicks we'll. Why make our new front office look bad by stringing Melo along
All out??????
This guy literally bucked any resistance to his style of play, which is pass him the ball and get of his way. He got a coach fired, forced a young popular PG out of town, got the president fired. Lets not forget the intial trade where he goaded Dolan into giving up the farm for him.
He hasn't taken a leadership role in the team, he barely participated in practice and his team D is abysmal.
I think he repped the Knicks horribly. He embodied the opposite of what we fans cherrish. Hard workers who play stellar defense who give their all every night. He's a lazy fat whiney premadonna who doesn't share the spotlight and doesn't adapt his game for the team. He deserves nothing but a kick me sign stapled to his fat ass.
