Depends on whether Ellenson can step into a bigger role, and if Leuer can regain some confidence. If the best case scenario happens, we'll be alright there.

I'm more interested in where Galloway fits on this team. I hope he doesn't depress Kennard's opportunity to play, but I think it will.

That's the issue at the 4 spot:

Let's assume King Henry develops more this season...enough that he could be a legit challenger for the starting spot next season:

Now you've got Dre & Henry starting - Henry would bring a different dynamic with his shooting and ability to put the ball on the floor...with Jon the first big off the bench that could play with Dre or Henry!

If we somehow upgrade the 4 spot without moving Henry or Jon then you just create a logjam that isn't going to help Henry at all.

So IMO you deal him for the upgrade now or you keep him and hope he develops
[/b]

As for Galloway - I think he beats out Kennard to start the season but Luke eventually takes that job by end of January

S&T for JaM Green from Memphis using Henry & Bobo

Favors is interesting considering the Jazz are on record as building around Gobert...Favors is a poor fit - wonder what they would take? Doubt Bobo, Henry & a unprotected pick

Not much out there as far as 4/5s we could get for Kingy and Bobo as a package

interesting thing i saw on youtube, but tolliver starting for us is an interesting idea. he would only play 15-18 minutes a game, but he might be best with the starting unit for the first 7 minutes of the first and third quarters. he is a much better three point shooter than leuer which gives reggie/dre more spacing in the pick and roll and ellenson, while having more offensive upside than tolliver, will likely still be a huge liability defensively. harris would start at the 3 in this scenario.

i still think the most likely outcome is SJ starting at 3 and harris starting at 4. AB and SJ guard the two best perimeter players on the opposing team and reggie/dre run the offense with harris and AB giving them good support. not sure what happens with the position battles beyond that in terms of leuer/tolliver or kennard/galloway.

I honestly think that Tobias should be our 6th man while also being one of our top offensive options.

Think about it, he had great chemistry with ish last year. Having Galloway or Kennard gives the offense a legit threat from the perimeter which is a vast improvement over having SJ in the corner. If Bobo is forcing teams to pack the paint, then that frees Tobias to attack closeouts, something he does better than anybody else on the team, or simply let it fly from the perimeter.

If he's playing with the starters, then his options will be much more limited with the Reggie/Drummond P&R being our number 1 option and AB likely being next in line.

Just my $0.02. Obviously matchups play a big part in any lineup.

Best way to do that is through the draft.

Not going to happen. Baring injury, I expect Galloway and Tolliver will have more minutes played than Kennard and Ellenson. Bullock may have more minutes played than Kennard too.

I think Kennard takes all the mins. SVG will play him if he can shoot it and playmake like he does. He's a rookie but he's more talented than those guys for sure and I think he's already polished enough to really contribute.

So you think we paid Galloway $7 mil a year for the next 3 years to be the 5th guard?

No, we paid him to be top line insurance against KCP leaving and possible not resigning Avery, and not sure how quick, or if, Kennard can contribute.

Drummond 32 Boban the destroyer 16
Tolliver 16 Leuer 20 Tobias 12
Tobias 20 SJ 28
Bradley 36 Galloway 12
RJ 28 Ish 20

Kennard and Ellenson needlessly rot on the bench.

Can't see Bobo getting 16 every night.

On the nights he sits Henry could log some time at the 4/5 instead

I can see Luke beating out Galloway before the ASG too

You should probably pick a new team now. Ellenson and Kennard will be garbage time appearances, at least to start the season.

Nah, it can't be.

SVG will [continue to] be the laughing stock of the league if he rolls out that tired, broken offense again after his grand mea culpa, change-is-coming speech at the end of the season. Any offensive scheme involving Andre Drummond as the #1 option is doomed to fail.

Must be great to make 7M and not be expected to play a consistent 15 min a game

What a stupid signing by sVG
