Mavericks aren't gonna outbid themselves and Nerlens likely hasn't gotten the fat offer sheet he was hoping for. Makes negotiations hard.

Personally, I think that's just the answer they gave to satisfy the masses as to why we chose to move him. I don't think we ever had any intention on using him beyond that tight little expiring window where we needed him. He was only ever a stopgap.

You may be right. For a stretch the Sixers played well with Embiid and Ersan on the floor together. If Saric improves his outside shot, losing Ersan is less of an issue.

would be disappointing if saric didnt improve his 3 point shooting. that's like his top priority during the off-season, along with strength and conditioning

Not many noticed the improvements the players made last year with extra playing time. Saric, Covington, Stauskus, TLC, and others all made improvements. You could see them trying step backs, midrange jumpers, and other things that made their shooting more efficient. Especially, Saric became the leader and playmaker. When his jumper was off, Saric punished players by bullying his way to the basket.

What are the Cavs doing? Are they trying to force LeBron to leave even before this season starts? Lol.

That reeks of a LeGM move. LeBron is the ultimate casual when it comes to player personnel. He values name recognition above all else.

Disagree. LeBron is one of the smartest players ever. He knows where the game is going and what it takes to win. I don't think LeBron would want Rose. Rose might only be useful playing 15 minutes as a bench player and never sharing the court with LeBron. I think this move is dumb though.

So the Raptors are planning on sometimes using Derozan in a PG role. They need to be taking the ball out of his hands, not enabling more usage.

Here's to hoping Kyrie chooses San Antonio in hopes of them smashing Golden State in the Playoffs next year. He's one of my favorite players, but I don't think I could continue rooting for him if he goes to New York.

It's going to be funny when he goes to his own team and is exposed for the fraud that he is. It's absurd how many people think he's a top 10 player when he's probably not even top 25.

Also, how ridiculous do you have to be to not want to play with LeBron?
jonjames is a signature bet welcher.

who's got Kyrie in their top 10 lol

Definitely top-25, probably in the tail end of that.

He's a solid #2 scoring option on a championship caliber team. That will almost always equate to being a top 25 player

Kyrie is super overrated. It is smart for the Cavs to ship him if they get value. If the reported trade for Eric Bledsoe AND Paul George was on the table and they said no (for any reason), they are fools.

If Kyrie is your best player, you'll be lucky to make the playoffs.

He is a Robin, and he needs a specific kind of Batman. If he can't let Lebron be that batman then there is no hope for him.

He can only guard the 1, and he can't run a team.

I wouldn't touch him on the Sixers. In a vacuum I would trade Fultz for him, but if he can't be second banana in Cleveland he surely won't stand for being third banana here.

GSW set the bar very high, especially with Durant taking a discount. Lebron needs to partner with an elite big, Porzingis, Anthony Davis, or Embiid. Not sure what's possible money wise:

Kyrie + Love for Carmello + Porzingis
Kyrie + Love for Anthony Davis + Jrue

Not sure teams want to help Lebron, but a quick move is probably necessary or he could see his domination fade away.

Whenever a trade request was made public, the current team almost never get equal value in return. So I think the cavs will be low balled by other teams.
