This "story" is so overblown, it's laughable to the amount of speculation Woj and co. have tried to fan on this non-existent flame to fit "their" narrative.

OMG, Rob Pelinka is talking to Rich Paul...cuz they just signed KCP but people interpret that as, "Oh, LBJ to Lakers interest"...smh.

God, this is going to be annoying for the next year. Thanks LeBron. Can't even have 1 non-drama like year, win or lose.

Actually, it was Woj creating clickbait since he's AS plugged into LBJ's camp as you or I are. When it comes to LBJ "stories" and Woj, his track record is pretty suspect but so far, he's doing his job and making the headlines over speculation/innuendo. That's why ESPN paying him the big bucks.

Well, I'm unaware that "LeBron" himself has "talked" to the LAL. That's news to me for that claim to even be made.

However, it's even funnier that people thinking Rich Paul talking to the LAL means by extension, that's "talking" to LeBron as well. And even if that were so, Rob Pelinka/Magic would be toeing the line of tampering and I think those 2 are smart enough to not even go there.

LAL didn't give KCP 18mil out of the kindness of their heart. If anything, they got a bargain for a really good player cuz he was 1) available and 2) they had the cap space to burn. The fact people trying to make it more than it is, quite frankly, is pretty funny to me. However, more power to those that buy into the illumanti woulda, coulda, shoulda's...I'm sure it won't be the last we hear of it. Knowing LBJ, he'll most likely welcome it cuz he knows how to play the game like a grandmaster. I just hope ya'll LAL folk are at least preparing yourself to be disappointed though. Don't get your hopes up too high since ya'll been down this road with other "premium" FA linked to great LaLa land. Going back and reading all the LAL fans' that bombarded us with KLove to LAL back in '15, to go back and read those posts, man oh man, just comedy gold.

But hey, if by some pigs flying miracle LAL lands LBJ, I'll be the 1st to say congrats. At the very least, Pelinka/Magic turning the ship around post-Kobe and at least putting LAL back on the map in the end. IMO, a strong LAL/BOS/NY, is good for the entire league from a competitive/media market standpoint. If it takes LBJ to do it to get LAL back, I'm fine with it. As many CLE folk have said, we got our chip, if he leaves a 2nd time, I think most of us are at peace with it.

Woj has written a lot of weird articles about LeBron in the past. The only thing Woj is good at is breaking trade news and FA signings. Even there he doesn't get any info from LeBron's camp. Maybe that is why he doesn't like LeBron.

Just yesterday he was saying that Kyrie doesn't have a voice because of LeBron and how team isn't built to suit Kyrie.

one terrible post doesn't fix another terrible post. The GB's problem in a nutshell.

Completely think this is a non-story. Some of the Bron-LA stuff has made some sense, in a I doubt it happens but it's intriguing kind of way, but this just seems really unrelated to Lebron.

The only Lebron related conclusion that can be drawn from this story is that the Lakers have a good relationship with his agent, which makes Lebron to LA more likely by like a 0.5% chance.

Oh, no doubt. He'll make his annual assessment of where things stand at the end of the season, as he always does.

But I wouldn't doubt that he's having his people doing back channel research and due diligence on a perspective location. A guy like Lebron who is constantly charting the best route for his career always does that.
