Bedard would be getting CY Young talk in NY or Boston.
"The guy is an idiot," Pedroia said regarding Cabrera. "I dropped my bat. It kind of freaked me out. I was upset they took him out of the game. He is good to hit. He's 9-15. The guy [stinks]."

Bedard would be getting Cy Young talk if he had more wins. The most blatant example of this was in 2001 (Mussina should have been Cy Young instead of Clemens) and 2005 (Santana should have been Cy Young instead of Colon)

bedard is very underrated because of what cmaff said--lack of wins. it's too bad people still judge pitchers by their record. 175 k's in 141.1 IP is pretty damn good.

but santana's still better ;)

(i'm a LHP, so i guess i'm biased :D)
