I wonder if the Cavs end up trading James instead of Irving. If he's leaving anyways why not get something for him?

he has a no trade clause

My inside sources (located somewhere around my hippocampus) have told me a deal of Irving for Delly, Mirza and 2018 #1 is in the works.

Yes Lebron would have to ok it. But if the Cavs call him out, and they are willing to trade him to the Lakers or the like, wouldn't he?

It'd be a pretty crappy thing to do even by his standards to leave them high and dry twice.

24/25 year olds coming off a season posting 25/6/3 on 47/40 /90 shooting don't come along every day.

If you could get him to just put in effort defensively you've got a very good player right there.

I bet you'd do that, but not Thon + filler.

Packages I'd be fine with

Brogdon/Jabari/Monroe/1st
Brogdon/Jabari/Wilson/1st
Thon/Jabari/1st
Middleton/Jabari/1st

No 2 of Thon, Middleton, and Brogdon however

I would do Thon too, with a cold heart.
GMs should think Team first and get their emotions and personal preferences below Team's improvement

Ofc kyrie hasn't included mke as a destination.
I'm glad because it would take the entire bucks core minus giannis to make it happen.
Now let's hope steph curry will demand a trae to mke(and for that we can trade the core, 1sts and the new arena)
What an offseason

Yeah that's fair, of course Monroe and the other bad contracts can be added.

I'd easily do those 3 guys with out blinking and I'm not even a big Kyrie guy.

That'd be pretty hilarious.

Seems more realistic. Although I think it would be Love, Kyrie, for KP/Mello/cap filler

A half year of Jabari in time for the playoffs is an asset that only makes sense to Cleveland. Might put them over the hump against GSW. We have no use for him and could use Kyrie or Bledsoe

I was thinking about if I was being a homer as soon as I posted that. You're probably right. I could probably be swayed into it.

Durant is preventing Steph from flourishing and stealing his thunder. Trade everybody but Thon for him. I watched an offseason video of him crossing up a rec leaguer and we can't risk losing a 7' guy who can do that. He should be untouchable. Giannis can go. All he would do is take touches from Thon.

i throw in middleton. everyone says we are 2+ years away from contending anyway and by that time his deal is up and hes pushing 28. kyrie is also not much older than brogdon so i ship him out too. if it takes parker as well good, as i would never feel good about watching him on anything short of a low ball contract. everyone is always saying we need another star and we arent getting it via FA so let's make the splash and see what happens.
