Think of it this way

Brogdon - value never higher coming off ROY, Kyrie and Delly are a championship backcourt
Parker - could play just in time for playoffs, value to the Cavs. But not so much to us.

So just add what you can part with after that for Kyrie. I think 2 of DJ, Thon, 18, or 20

I think we should make a decent offer. I think there's a lot of fool's gold about Kyrie's game but no doubt he's extremely talented and locked up contract wise for a decent period. Question is how much you give up. I'd be ok with a package centred around brog, jabarles, middleton and a pick. Keep thon though.

I'd trade Middleton, Jabari a 1st and whatever else they wanted in a heartbeat for Kyrie. You would be a fool not too.

Mixing the long term plan to get Ingram with Kyrie ... and the question is ... Do you trade Khris+Ingram for Kyrie ?

Is Kyrie better than Giannis right now?

No, giannis is much better IMO. Is there anyway we can get this done and keep Middleton?

May the Cavs send him to Siberia so he can be a star that leads them to the late lottery. Wanted out after winning the title, too funny. Yeah, he'd love coming to Milwaukee to defer to Giannis' emerging star.

Brogdon has only been around for a year. There's no other point to compare his stock to. He can keep improving. That's not only limited to teenagers. He wasn't experienced to take as much of an assertive role on the court last year as he could. He could take a step or two forward in the coming year from doing so and quickening his release off the dribble. He has the smarts and work ethic, to go along with pretty good physical tools.

Frankly, I'm not very keen on supplying Brogdon or Middleton in a trade for Kyrie. Those guys are much better defenders than him and he proved with LeBron he won't play his proper role in an offense. So what would he do to Giannis? Historically, Kyrie has not been a winning player. Every year with the big 3, he's managed the worst on/off +/- of that group. One year somehow it was even in the negatives. Prior to the cavalry arriving, he had negative or marginally positive on/off +/-'es, on a team where he should have been by far the best player if he fits in most winning cores. I don't see why a team should want to invest a lot in a player with that history. It should be a talented but partial problem child for talented partial problem child type swap, i.e.: Kyrie for Melo; for them. They/LeBron are going to want to play with vets and friends like that anyway.

If I'm the Cavs, I'm trying to get Deandre Jordan and Pat Beverly for Irving and Shumpert.

Beverly
Smith
James
Love
Jordan

I think that is a better team than what they have now.

Agreed. It works on a lot of levels. But I think the Cavs would miss Kyrie's offensive game even as they'd step up defensively.

Hell, I wonder if there a three-way deal with Carmelo possibility here. Both teams have shown interest.

Maybe Cleveland ships Tristan + whatever to LA to facilitate a Carmelo transaction. New York gets picks and anyone they want on the Clippers roster not named Blake.

Clips Get: Kyrie, Tristan, Shump
Knicks Get: Picks from Cleveland, LA, Cap space, and potential expirings
Cleveland gets: Beverly, Anthony, Jordan.

I don't know if that's even possible cap wise. So it might be impossible. But it would resolve three stories in one trade.

I may have a brain tumor, but I'd rather not trade away our young players for Kyrie. Perhaps I'm being emotional rather than reasonable, but I really like this team, with the exception of Henson. We aren't winning a championship, so **** it! I rather be disappointed with how our young talent develops than trade it away for a known superstar. I'm cracked!
I admit to being a terrible judge of talent and having minimal knowledge of the game of basketball.

Most of you don't know that Kyrie is a Greek name
Took it from the Greek Christian pray "Kyrie Eleison" which means "Lord have mercy".
So it is destiny the two superstars with Greek names to pair together in Milwaukee

If you have a chance to get Kyrie get him anyway, and if he's a little b*tch about it sell him on next summer.

By the way I have no idea what this guy is thinking, he said NY? Really? WTF
