ESPN Sources: On Kyrie Irving front, Cavs were given four preferred landing spots: New York, Miami, San Antonio, Minnesota.
NY has nothing other than Porzingis, who shouldn't be traded.
Miami has nothing period.
San Antonio won't trade Kawhi obviously, and I'm not sure what else they can trade.
Minnesota could trade Wiggins I suppose.
Kyrie has really put the Cavs in a bad spot here. He should have made his intentions known before the draft.
Now the only teams that could really give value for him would be horrible teams trading future lottery picks, which won't help the Cavs this year.
I'm sorry, but Kyrie wanting out of Cleveland at this point is a character flaw in my mind. He should be ecstatic to play with Lebron, and even if he isn't, the team becomes his next year if Lebron leaves.
I don't see how this ends well for him or the Cavs at this point. He just threw a grenade into the locker room of the second best team in the league, for his personal glorification.
Great talent. Bad teammate.
